Partying just isn't Yeri's style. She does not know what to do at the moment. Like seriously, her best buddies are too occupied with their boyfriends to even bother with a single girl like her.
Standing up from the couch that has been her territory since the very beginning, she walks to Yeoreum, "Hey, woman. I'm going out for some cold night air where nobody will ditch me because nobody is out there at this hour."
Yeoreum rolls her eyes at her friend's remark, chuckling at the shorter girl's thought of being alone, before giving her a nod of approval, "Be careful and don't get into the water."
"Just who the hell will do that at this hour?" Yeri mumbles out, making her way out of the villa.
She immediately regrets the idea of being out once the cold sea breeze hit the skin. However, she keep walking as she refuses to get back into the place.
And apparently, there's someone stupid enough— just like her— to be at the beach. The boy sits on a big rock, admiring the full moon before his eyes and the moonlight made him radiant.
And that someone is Jeon Jungkook.
She's doubting a few times, whether or not, she should go and approach him.
"Just come here. I won't do inappropriate things to you. You know me." He says, his eyes secretly glancing at her.
"That's exactly why I can't simply trust you. You are inappropriate." Yeri's statement successfully made him roll his eyes.
But she made her way to him anyway, taking a seat next to the boy who was in his own world before her appearance interrupted his zoning-out moment.
"Having a nice time?" She asks her friend that's observing the night sky, and his night profile has never failed to mesmerize her though the last time they sit by the beach together, he didn't look so radiating.
Was it because of the sad atmosphere?
"Better than inside. It sucks in there." He says, with his gaze fixated at the moon, but sometimes he would steal a glance over her, "I'm sorry for the sudden kiss. You were being such a hard-headed human."
"No, it's alright. I don't really mind." Yeri casually says as she shrugs the thought off.
"I didn't want to stop you, but Wooshin hyung had been telling me to not let you wearing those kind of clothes." Says the boy, explaining the reason behind his act a few hours ago.
Yeri could relate, totally. Kim Wooshin could be a jerk but he's quite protective at times.
Rolling her eyes, she exclaims, "I should have known. That man is unpredictable."
"But seriously, you looked quite hot in that outfit." Jungkook smirks at the thought of her wearing the former clothes.
Frowning, Yeri kicked him, totally ignoring the fact that she's actually wearing a skirt at the moment, "You're gross. Were you checking me out?"
"Please behave, woman. You're wearing a skirt." He stops her from kicking by holding onto her leg, "Besides, I was not checking out. I was just looking at something in front of me. Not my fault that I'm attracted with skin exposure. I'm a man too."
"Men sure are gross." Yeri barks at him as she stops kicking.
Chuckling, Jungkook didn't even attempt of backing himself up, as if agreeing with her words.
"Sure it is. Are you not planning to go back inside because it's becoming chilling cold out here and you're wearing that outfit. Plus, I am not intending of giving my jacket to you. I'm sort of freezing too.""Tch, how much of a gentleman you are."
Yeri speaks with dripping sarcasm, squinting her eyes at the boy's annoying-ness.He chuckles, hopping off the rock soon after, leaving Yeri on the thing alone.
"How did I get up here? And how am I supposed to get off?"
She stands on her feet, looking at the height. Her legs couldn't even reach the ground, how is she supposed to leave too? Did she climbed up there in skirt?
That sure looked improper.
"Need a hand?" Jungkook questions her upon seeing her looking so troubled up there, stretching out his hand for her.
"Glad to know you still have some common sense in your head." She takes his hand, carefully jumping down so that no accident would occur.
But her body happened to collide with his, that he hold onto her waist to keep her in balance, and her hands against his chest.
They are totally cool with the position, acting as if it doesn't affect them but who knows what do they feel internally.
And at a distance, someone is broken at the sight.

"Really, Jungkook? Why don't you two just stay here overnight? It's late to drive, you know?" Yeoreum convinced Jungkook for the fifth times, but he seems determined to bring Yeri back home."Yeah, bro. We can head back to Seoul tomorrow morning." Gyujin tried to make them stay too. He's going to sleep over and of course he need Jungkook to be with him.
"I'm totally fine with the idea, but someone's brother has been texting me some death threats since forever. I've got no choice." Jungkook mocked Yeri, but the girl couldn't care less.
It's her brother, not her.
Besides, it's his own fault for kidnapping her that evening.
"Okay then okay. Just be careful. I don't want to see any news of your death tomorrow." Tzuyu reminded them, her heart felt so heavy to let Yeri go at that hour.
"You! Don't you ever do anything stupid to our best friend, if you don't want to have us murdering you later." Chaeyoung warned Jungkook, pointing at his face with a stern glare.
"Oh, come on! I'm not a bad person or something!" Jungkook retort in defence, sounds like a whining in Yeri's ears.
"Enough with the warning girls. It's past 11 and it takes at least an hour to drive back. We shall leave now." Yeri pushes Jungkook to his car, not wanting to waste another second arguing. "Good night!"
As she entered the car, Jungkook immediately started the engine and drive back to Seoul.
"Aren't you going to sleep?" Jungkook asks the girl when he sees that she's still wide awake beside him.
"Nah, I can't possibly let you drive alone everytime I get a ride." She refuses, and Jungkook looks at her in amusement.
"Never thought you'd be this considerate. But if you're considerate enough, why didn't you talk to your brother for a stay?"
"Well, I couldn't possibly spend another night with you. It's annoying. Besides, you should be responsible for abducting me this evening." She elaborates as she looks at him, long enough to stop herself from feeling sleepy.
Jungkook rolls his eyes at her exaggeration. Like brother, like sister.
"I did not abduct you. Your parents knew about it.""Taking someone with out their willing is considered as abduction, Mr Jeon." Yeri flips her hair at him, playfully which causes the annoyed boy tugging onto her hair.
"If only you are not driving, I would just pull your hair until you're bold." She refrains herself from getting her revenge right away while looking away.
And that's how the drive became a whole argument, until the last 15 minutes, when Yeri fell asleep in the car.
And he had to lift her all the way to her room.
And before leaving, he mumbles something to the groggy girl.
