Yerim's POV
The bell rang, signaling that it's time for P.E as everyone of the class rush out of the class, to the changing room to change. We soon gathered at the hall, warming up without being instructed as we're used to it. This time, it's Jaehyun's turn to lead and as soon as Ms Yang, our P.E teacher came, she asked us what game do we want to play.
"Let's play basketball!" I suggested in excitement, earning a look from the rest of my classmates, "What?" I asked
"Yerm, we know you're eager to play basketball, but please remember that I exist in this class." Arin voiced out, causing me to frown because I don't see any wrong with her existence.
"And why is that a problem?" I asked the girl, puzzled.
Yeoreum slapped her own forehead, before answering me “And by playing basketball, she will probably not be able to play at all."
"That's why we, as small girls, should use violence." I said to her, glaring at Jungkook as he replaced the word small to short.
"But still..."
"Fine, fine. Let's just play dodgeball instead." Said the class' troublemaker, Junhoe and everyone agreed.
The prize for the winner is a meal treat by the losers. So, we're determined to win.
We were sorted into two teams, with Arin, the smallest among us to be the queen for the first round. But unfortunately, we lost, because a boy named Taeyong mercilessly threw the ball to me and that time, she was behind me.
But I forgot that the aim for the game was to protect the queen so I jumped, and the ball hit her.
My fault, really.
But to think about it, it's quite unfair since our opponent consist of four boys meanwhile we only have three.
So it's not my entire fault.
We were tied after two games and we're having a five-minute brake for the third match.
"This time, I think it's better to have Yeri as the queen. She seems to have a good skill." Arin said when we're discussing about the strategy.
"And she's quite small too, so she will be able to protect herself and be protected by others that is not Yeri." Eunwoo said, referring the way I forgot to dodge the ball from Arin earlier.
"Uh, uh. The word small is an understatement. She's actually just plain short." Jungkook snorted at me and I threatened to punch him but was stopped by Tzuyu who's holding onto my hand.
"You're not so tall either." I sneered at him, while looking away. The rest of my team mates are still choosing the new queen— Jungkook and I are an exception.
"But at least I'm taller than you." He defended himself while showing the height difference between us.
"Ugh! Can we just start already?" I groaned in annoyance while glaring at the boy, holding the urge to just curse at him.
"Alright, we have decided that Yerim shall be our queen. Please rule wisely, Your Highness." Jaehyun playfully said while bowing and I rolled my eyes.
"If only I could rule for real, Jungkook would be the first one to be executed for being him." I muttered under my breath, but Jungkook overheard me. How can he not, he's just next to me.
"The good thing is, you're not the real ruler. Come on." He told me, pushing me into the court.
So we decided to hide my identity as the queen and I immediately made my way to the front line of defense to confuse them.
