Sorry it took this long for anything... Juicy to happen. I've been trying to take my time, adding details. I don't want to rush it. I did that in the past so thank you all for your love and support!!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sun peeked through my closed blinds and hit my face. My eyes fluttered open. I pulled the covers up over my head and turned around. That's when I saw Dean. Sound asleep. I slowly brought the covers down so I could see him. Then memories flash of what happened last night. I smile, as they replay over and over in my head. I slowly sit up and turn to look at the clock. Holy crap. It was already 2 pm.
Well, we didn't fall asleep until like 5 am. I lay back down. I took a deep sigh and closed my eyes, preparing for the day ahead. I felt Dean wrap an arm around me. I held his arm close.
"Morning." Dean's voice was low and rusty. I smiled
"Afternoon... Actually."
I heard Dean grunt. "What? What time is it?" I start to feel his body move as he begins to wake up more.
"2." With that, Dean slowly sat up so I sat up to join him.
His eyes were squinted as he looks over at me. He smiles then stretches. As he stretched, I turned my body and let my legs dangle off the side of my bed. I stared at my feet. "Dean."
He got off the bed to find his briefs. "Hm?"
Without thinking, I asked, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
I heard his foot steps stop. It was silent. I begin to regret what I just said. Was it to blunt?
Then I fell back as Dean jumped on the bed and held on to my back. He hugged me tight. "Of course." He held on for what seemed like forever. "I kinda thought we were already a thing but I guess it's official now."
I smiled and felt my body get warm. I look down and saw my chest glow a dull purple. "Dean?"
"yeah?" We both got up and saw each others chests glow the same shade. I look at my chest, then his. I smiled bright.
"Dean!" I lunged forward and hugged him. "My grandma always told me stories of when I'll find the one." I pulled away. His face was showing a gentle smile. "She always told me I'd settle down with a beautiful girl. Who was gentle and kind and funny." I look down at our hands, interlocked. "But you beat any girl, any day." I look at him again. His smile is gone. "Dean? What's... What's wrong?" then a tear falls down his cheek. "Dean??" I brought him in for a hug before he begins to break down.
"My father." His breathing is heavy and his voice is shakey. "He'll never accept this."
"He doesn't have to." I hugged him tight. "This is you and me. Not him."
He didn't hug back but I didn't let go. Eventually, his sniffling stopped. He hugged me back. "Thanks, Cas." Dean kissed the top of my forehead, then we both released each other from our grasps.
Then we heard a deep growl. I look down. I'm hungry. "Let's go get some food."
"Sounds like a plan I'd love to follow." Dean smiled.
We decided to stay in, no fancy restaurants. No bustling crowds. Just us, still in our underwear. I threw on an old shirt, only Cuz I felt a breeze run through the home. Dean put the shirt he was wearing yesterday on. I cleared off the table and placed down two paper plates.
"Only the finest China, for the finest guy." Dean chuckled as he played with the table cloth. "I haven't gone grocery shopping yet so what I've got issss.." I run to the kitchen, bringing back a pot and another paper plate. "Exquisite tasting turkey and cheddar sandwiches and Finley grated, powder cheese from a packet, macaroni and cheese."
