Chapter 5: Confessions

'Are you hot right now? Do you ever get nervous? Are you single?...'

Carter's POV

"Come on Carter, ask her out already"
"Yeah, grow some balls"

This had been happening for the past half hour, the boys are still harassing me about asking Megan out but I really just can't.

"I've told you this already, she just got her heartbroken by some faggot and isn't ready for a relationship yet. And anyway, what the hell happened to no girls?" I told them

"Well, that kind of ended when nine hot girls in bikinis came up to us at the beach" someone from the crowd around me yelled out

"Whatever, I don't break my promises and if I promised no girls, then I'll have no girls no matter how badly I want them"

"So you admit that you want Megan?"

"What? No! I mean - ugh"

"Boys! Time to get on stage!" Bart says to us and the eight boys in front of me ambush out of the place and on to the stage to greet our thousands of fans

I get up slowly and walk on to the stage where the boys are already, they've started greeting the fans while I put on a fake smile and wave at them all

"Ok! Time to get to the booths! We'll see you guys there!" Matt said running off the stage with everybody else following in suit

I shared a booth with Aaron and we made small talk as we waited for the girls to come

Suddenly, there was a huge squeal from the entrance and a stampede of girls ran into the room

About twenty girls went up to us first squealing and giggling to themselves

"Hello, ladies" Aaron said flirtatiously which only made the girls squeal even more.

We took photos with them, signed some things, and conversed with them before they headed to the next booth as more girls came up to us.

After countless minutes of this we were finally up to our last person, she carried her camera in front of her as she walked up to us, filming the whole thing.

"Hi Aaron! Hi Carter!" she said, waving at us enthusiastically.

"Hello, what's your name?" Aaron asked her

"Rosemary, but you can call me Rosie"

"Well, hi Rosie. Would you like a picture?" And that's pretty much how the conversation went for our longest interview yet

A guard came up to us after a long time telling Rosie she had to leave

"Ok ok, just one more thing" she said turning her camera to me. "It has come to my understanding that you guys have been hanging out with a group of nine attractive young ladies" she wiggled her eyebrows at me

I chuckled. "Yes we have, Aaron in particular has had his eyes on a Greek-Italian beauty" I said mentioning Melina and Aaron's cheeks turned scarlet

"Have you had your eyes on one of them Carter?" she asked and I pondered this for a moment - what have I got to lose? It's just a fan anyway.

"Yes, I'm pretty sure I do"

"Her name?"

"Megan Logan"

"What's she like?"

"She's absolutely gorgeous, she has short dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, she's quite short for her age as well. Her sense of humor is invredible, she's one of those people that can always make you laugh. She's just downright amazing and I have to admit, I wish he was mine"

And with that, Rosie closed her camera and skipped away without saying goodbye"

"Knock knock" someone said at my door

I looked up to see the smiling face of the girl I have learnt to adore

"Can I come in?" Megan asked and I nodded, patting the space next to me on my bed and she sat down next to me

Naturally, a conversation flowed out of our mouths and I found myself laughing like mad

I took a selfie of us doing gay as poses and uploaded it on twitter

"Hey, I've gotta go to the bathroom. Be back soon" I said as I rushed to the bathroom across the hall form mine and Matt's room

"Focused, I'm focused. She's gotta body like that ain't never seen nothing like that oh yeah" I belted out the lyrics to the most amazing song ever as I washed my hands after taking a much needed piss

"Then she started dancing-" I stopped when I saw Megan's face as she stared at her phone

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked as I approached her

"I-I g-gotta g-go" she stuttered trying to get around me

I grabbed her by the wrist and her phone clattered to the ground. On the screen was a YouTube video titled 'Carter Reynolds confesses his love for a chocolate eyes beauty by the name of Megan'

I gaped at the phone and gulped as I looked back up at Megan

"Ok, so now you know the truth. Just
please don't go" I pleaded with her

She stared back at me for what felt like hours, tears forming in her eyes before she looked away and shook me off

"I-I'm sorry Carter" she whispered and without another word ran out of the room
