"Yeah, my uncle was horrible."
"How was he horrible?"
"He did drugs, he was staying at our house most of the time. My parents are gone for most of the day because they're doctors, so it was him who cared for me mostly. It was partially why I didn't really bring friends home, unless I knew my parents were home and he wasn't there."
"So that's why the stupid dare I did while drunk got you so angry."
"Back up a moment, you dealing drugs was a dare?"
"A really extremely stupid dare that was given to me by a drunk person. I was also drunk. They had the drugs, I had to sell them. I got caught."
"Julian.....I'm sorry."
"You didn't do anything that wasn't justified. The article didn't get my point of view, as I was being held while the trials happened, and the trials weren't big enough to get news coverage."
"My uncle was worse though. He didn't stop at the drugs. He tried to give me some, at one point. Drugged my food."

"So that's the reason behind the reaction to the domestic abuse."
"Yeah. It was what motivated me to work so hard at acting. So I could stay away from home for as long as possible."
"How long, K?"
"My parents kicked him out as soon as I gained the courage to tell them."
"When was that?"
"When I was 8."
