The pathway from the mushroom forest

Holding on to Eldor we crossed the Lasx river. Here the air was pretty different. The soggy stench lay thick in this marshy land. The weather was humid but pleasant.
The land was scattered with small mushrooms of all colurs. I remembered how well my mama made the mushroom risotto. I smile at her thought. I wonder what she is doing right now. Arfion weaved a spell so that she would think I am out for a vacation in Paris. I absent mindedly walked and was about to collide with a ...a white tree? Nope...A huge mushroom stalk when Nalu held me back. "  Be careful Cel...they might be pretty but once one eats it they do wierd things. "Wot?" We turned to Edor who jad his mouth stuffed with mushrooms. I looked at him wide eyed. "Oh no Eldor what have you done? Spit it out now!"...He looked at Airfion and then at me. "'Too late" Oh no. Eldor sounds like...a girl. We all looked at each other and bursted out laughing. Nalu picked a purple one. "Try this  Cel." He stiffled a laugh. I eyed him suspiciously. But again this is fun. I took a bite of the mushroom...the sweet raw taste was not bad. "Well?" As soon as the words leave my mouth...I cover it with both of my hands. Arfion ,Eldor and Nalu all bursted out laughing. I sound like an old man. "HOW LONG WILL THIS STAY" Elsor screams like a girl. Nalu in fits of laughter..."about half an hour."
Thr forest grew darker...the marshyness was now quite problematic. The groung was too soft that it almost went in the grass...Eldor was too feeling uncomfortable. No option of flying. The ceiling was of giant mushrooms.
We were definitely in the heart of the mushroom woods. As we walked carefully, a growl entered our ears.  All stood motionless. Again!
"No body move" Nalu whispers as his and Eldor's face pales. I look up and saw a huge frog like creature of various earthy shades was sleeping still. "Its asleep" Arfion whispers. "Let us slowly tread and see there is an exit to the left...I can see the light." Eldor points out.
We stuck closely as we walked past the giant . *Crunchh!!!* we darted our eyes back. Eldor with an apologetic face." Oops"...we looked to the giant...sigh...it's not awake. Suddenly rhe thin layer of skin on its head parted revealing a pair of red and black balls..or eyes. "Can we run now"
A big tail crushed before us on our escape track taking us by surprise. And another mushroom stalk fell behing us...trapping us .
Arfion swoons up and hits it with fire arrows..."Nalu take him from the back!!" Nalu sprints up and makes ice tridents which hits the giant. Eldor files from the side and lets out a tornado of purple fire from its horn...and the giant falls on its back.
I stood there rather awkwardly. A voice behind my head."use the shield whip to tie his leg "

I throw the energy aura at the giant...aiming for its feet. A whip like rope of pure magicoenergy wraps up the giant from its hands to torso and knees and feet. The giant roads and screams and in a huge envelope of smoke it disappears. "Dark Magic" Arfion says in a low voice. "Rubin is growing powerful with the black diamonds" Nalu growls.
