Chapter 6: Deja Vu

Time is something in life which everyone goes by. But once you get rid of time what do you have?

Everyday me and Zion have been going to the meadow for a swim in the pond or for a walk. My injuries are healing nicely. All my bruises seem to be gone and my leg feels much better. I can now walk on my own and I only get tired if I use it allot. My ribs seemed to be healed I haven't had any problems with them at all.

As for me and Zion we been getting along okay. I still haven't learn that much about him but I take what I can get. To me it feels like he is afraid to open up to me. Like he cant trust me. I don't really blame him for that I mean I wouldn't trust a stranger with my life story.

"Are you just going to sit in there all day and prune up?" yelled Zion from upon the rock.

"Sorry I was just thinking." I said while getting out of the water. I laid down on the grass letting the sun dry me off with its warmth. This place is like heaven.

"You been doing that allot lately..... Can you remember anything from before or are you still lost." Zion asked while laying right next to me.

"Sadly no. I still can't remember. I do sometimes get these flashes but nothing is ever clear."

"Well maybe your not meant to remember. Maybe your meant to start off new."

I turn my head to look at him and in thought maybe he is right. But can one live with out knowing his past? After thinking awhile longer I get back up and grab for my clothes. "Maybe your right but I would still like to know my past; who am I?"

Zion gets up and joins me. "True, but don't stress about it to much. Stress isn't good for you and your memory will come back on its own. You just need time."

I just nod my head in agreement. We finished getting dressed and headed back to the cave. Once we reached the cave Zion helps me back up on the bed  because its still damn to high for me to climb on my own.

"Hey Jaden tomorrow I have to go to my family so I want you to stay in the cave while I am gone." Zion says to me while laying right next to me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Cause Jaden there are dangerous things out there and I don't want you getting hurt. You are barely recovery from you injuries." he said turning to face me.

"But we have been going out there for awhile and nothing has happen. I think I will be fine." I argued.

"NO! Now do as I say please." Zion yelled.

"WHY! YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME I CAN DO AS I PLEASE!"

"WOULD YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME ONCE. DON'T GO OUT THERE TOMORROW." he yelled towering over me.

I could see the look in his eyes, determination. We would be up all night if I didn't agree with him. And seeing how i was already tired and just wanted to sleep. I would agree but if I go outside tomorrow its my business. "Fine I won't go out tomorrow. Happy?!"

"Yes now go to sleep." Zion said turning over to the other side not facing me.

We both fell asleep after that. Both not saying good night to each other. I don't know why but I missed his good night. I know its silly but I just do. I woke up to just me in the bed..Zion had already left without saying a word or waking me up letting me know he was gone. It kind of hurt the way he just left.

What to do? I have been sitting in this cave for the past..... YEAR! I AM SO FREAKING BORED!!!! You know what I am a big boy, I can take care of myself. I then decided for the best of my sanity I walked out towards the cave to the meadow.
