Gemini was at a baseball game enjoying the beautiful summer morning. The team Gemini had been rooting for just hit a home run. "WHOOOOHOO!" Gemini hollered. "DID YOU SEE THAT?!" Shouted a Koopa sporting a mohawk. "YEAH THAT WAS SO AWEOSME!" Gemini responded jumping up and down. "MY NAMES LARRY how bout you?" Larry laughed holding up peace sings. "Haha! I'm Gemini!" Larry moved to a seat next to Gemini. "Hold on!" Larry ran off returning only minutes later with slushies. "Here!" Larry held one out for Gemini. "Thanks dude! But we just met?" Gemini giggled. "You seem cool!" Larry smiled brightly. "Well in that case I guess we're officially friends, cause I think you're cool too!" Gemini sipped their slushie. The game went on and the two's favorite team ended up winning. "You wanna go back to my place? It's hot out and I have a pool!" Gemini asked eagerly. "Yeah that sounds fun!" Larry laughed and the two walked to Gemini's house. "Where are your parents?" Larry asked when they got there. "Honeymoon. They just got married." "Oh, congrats to them!" Larry gave a thumbs up. "LAST ONE TO THE POOL IS A ROTTEN EGG." Gemini sprinted to the pool. "NO FAIR CHEATER!" Larry giggled running after Gemini. Gemini got there first claiming victory. "YOU GOT A HEAD START!" Larry smirked. "WHATCHU GONNA DO ABOUT IT HUH- HUH? WHATCHU GONNA-" Gemini's teasing was cut off by Larry pushing them into the pool. Gemini resurfaced.
"That's what I'm gonna do about it." Larry smirked crossing his arms
"Meanie!" Gemini laughed swimming around. Larry jumped in splashing Gemini in the face with water. Gemini splashed back, "See how you like it." Gemini stuck out their tongue snickering. "Oh yeah?" Larry splashed back again and then Gemini did too and it became a film on water war. Gemini jumped on Larry play attacking him when Larry began ticking Gemini who laughed so hard they couldn't breathe. "Do you surrender?" Larry raised an eyebrow. "Hahha FINE." Gemini laughed catching their breath. It eventually started to get dark so they climbed out of the pool and got some towels to dry off. Gemini lit a fire in the fire pit and grabbed some sticks, marshmallows, chocolate, and gram crackers. "S'mores?" Larry clapped his hands excitedly. "Hey... Gemini?" "Yeah?" "Is it okay if I call you Gem? One it's short for Gemini, and two... You're honestly as pretty as a Gem." Larry said bashfully smiling. "Thats so sweet thank you!" Gemini ruffled his mohawk. Gemini wrapped a big blanket around the both of them and they began roasting marshmallows and talking about their dreams. "I wanna be a professional athlete when I'm older so I can play sports all the time! And..." Larry's eyes lit up as he pictured his future. "And what?" Gemini smiled making a s'more. "It's nothing..."
Larry looked into the distance, "How bout you Gem?" He took a bite of his s'more. "I don't really know what I want to do... I guess whatever ticks my heart the right way, ya know?" Gemini looked to Larry who smiled, "Thats a cool way to look at it." After they were done the s'mores they just chilled watching the fire and chatting more. "Hey you got chocolate on your face..." Gemini said. Larry wiped at his face "Did I get it?" He chuckled. "No haha here I got it." Gemini liked her finger and wiped the chocolate from the corner of his mouth. Larry blushed and smiled awkwardly, "hah thanks." He paused for a minute, "You have something on your face too I guess I'm not the only one." Larry laughed. Gemini wiped her face "Did I get it?" Larry half smiled, "Here... I got it." Larry leaned in and kissed Gemini for a few seconds. Gemini's eyes lit up as she smiled at Larry who smiled back blushing. "You know..." Larry began- "Remember when I said and?" "Yes?" Gemini asked a bit confused, "The sentence would've been, 'and spend the rest of my life with you...' Gem you're really special to me. I love you." Gemini kissed Larry on the tip of his nose, "I love you too." And they spent the rest of the night by the fire.
