31~Escape!!

I woke up at around midnight. I looked up at the stary sky and sighed. It was beautiful, I wish I was up there, FOCUS PATCHES! Right. Wake up amber we sneek away and off we go. I sit up I glance at sky who was snoreing beside my left roped up so she didn't get any ideas.
I walk over her and crouch beside amber and say, "amber!" I shake her shoulder she flinches and sits up rubbing her eyes.
"Lets get a move on shall we?" I said helping her up. She nods and packs up her stuff an I do te same.
The breeze was getting a little colder since it was night,
"So..." Amber started. We had all ready got a head start of walking and she wanted to start a conversation. Wow, haha.
"You still like her?" She asks me ignoring my glare.
"Hell no, she tried to hurt me and I'm sure you at one point. Anyways we need to find a faster way of travel. We look to the distance a man was standing there. He has old tattered clothes and a small fishing hat. His face was covered with hair. We ran up to him. "Hello sir, we wanted to know what are you doing?" I pointed to his thumb up in the air sticking out to the road. He looked at me and smiled with rooting teeth.
"I'm hitch hiking pretty girl," he said looking at a car zoom by.
"What?" Amber asked.
"I'm wanting a ride, and this is a way to get it. You stick your thumb out and people will see it and stop. Perhaps they will let you get in the car and drive you to a gas station or something like that." He answered.
I look at amber.

"This will work!" I say. We walked for a few miles and we stopped. We wanted to be far from the other guy to get our selves out own ride. An hour passed. "Patches my thumb is getting tired..." She says. I look at her.
"Common! This will work. Look here comes a car now!" I said hopefully. The car rolled by slowly lowering the window. A man looked at me then at amber. He smiled and said, "you looking for a ride?" His voice was a little... High pitched. He was wearing a pink shirt and a belt. The driver was about the same but a purple shirt. They both had matching rings. Oh gay people. Lol.
"Uh yes! To the nearest has station..?" I ask hopefully. He nodded his head and motioned to the door. I open the door and get in. Amber gets in the other side.
"Okay it's about a 25minute ride to the nearest one." The driver said, I noded.
"So who are you guys and I like your ears and tail! So cool," the passenger said. "Btw I'm terry and this is Charles!"I wave and introduce my self.
"I'm patches and this is amber!" I said. They seemed nice, I like them.
About ten minutes passed. I was curious...
"Are you two..." I was embarrassed...
"Gay? Yes," he said holding his hand. They smiled at each other.
"How did you guys meet?" Amber said oviously as curious a I am.
"Well I meet him at a park... We both were shy at first then I started to talk to him and become friends. Eventually we got together." Charles said.
"He's such a good person. And that's not all if you know what I mean," terry nudged Charles in the side making a sex joke. Funny haha.
"So you from around here?" Terry asked.
I shook my head. "Nope,"
"Okay cool," he replied.
"How about you two?" Charles asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked. He shrugged. "How long have you two been together?"
I shake my head "were not..."
Amber shook her head too.
"She's straight, but I'm bisexual. I think. I'm not really sure.." I said clearing things up. They noded. Awkward.
The car screeched to a stop. A esso station came into view.
"Thanks for the ride what do we owe you?" I ask.
"Oh nothing," he said.
"Well baiiii" they drove away.
"Welp that was awkward" amber said. I noded. Agreed.
"Okay let's go in and get some stuff," I say and we head for the door.
