We had started hanging out lots.

Jake and I had started to get to know each other more over the few weeks we had been hanging out, which was awesome! It wasn't like we had to ask our parents either, as my sister and I just did whatever we wanted normally- due to father working all the time- and Jake lived with his grandparents who were mostly not home as well.

We had a lot in common, which made me happy. We definitely had a lot more in common than what I had with Noah, Ashley and Eleanor.

I shuddered softly, not wanting to even think about them. Ever since the text message, they hadn't said anything to me, nor even got close to me...

Fuck them...

I was sitting on the couch, scrolling through my social media pages- which weren't popular at all, mostly because I kept a low profile and didn't like anything or post anything.

I just liked to see what other people were up to, my life never really has been interesting enough to have anything posted for everyone to see.

I also didn't like the big spotlight of attention, when you became popular. I'm just not built for that.

Just then, Jake sent me a text. I clicked on the notification that had popped up on the top of my screen, it taking me to my messages.

He had sent me a picture of him, in his kitchen. He had a huge bowl of different coloured ice-cream with every kind of ice-cream sauce spilled all over it, which made me instinctively lick my lips. I would be lying, if I said it didn't make my stomach growl.

The text below it, read; 'Getting ready for the next season of Supernatural.' Which I laughed at. I loved that show! It was definitely something I would recommend to someone who hadn't seen it before, cause it's amazing!

I chuckled softly and texted back. Replying with; 'Also getting ready for a stomach ache?'

Sure, it was just ice cream. But when I said there was a lot of it in the bowl, I meant A LOT. It was like getting five bowls of cereal, and filling them to the very very brim of the bowl and eating all five, all in one sitting.

It would make me sick- like anyone else, but it DID look tasty. We texted back and forth for a few minutes, before he said he had to go, before the ice-cream melted, which I laughed at.

Asra had snuck over to me while I was texting Jake, peering over my shoulder curiously. He had on a mixed expression, which looked like it was stuck in-between confusion, and frustration.

I chuckled softly and gently grabbed onto his hand, pulling him up onto the couch with me. I sat up a bit, so he could sit in my lap.

I pulled up the picture of Jay, holding it in front of him so that he could see it. "That's my new friend, looks nice right?"

He nodded quickly and took the phone out of my hands, holding it so that it was only a few inches away from his face. "What's his name...?"

I chuckled softly. "Jake."

His eyes lit up. What he did next, just made my inward cuteness meter explode.

He held the phone close, smiling widely like a child. "Hi Zach's friend Jake!! I'm Asra!" I covered my face and laughed, wrapping my arms around him and hugging him close.

Oh my Lord, so damn cute...

Asra didn't get what I was laughing at, but that didn't stop him from continuing. "Are you shy? That's okay! I used to be shy too, but then I met Zach!" He continued on and on, as if he were actually talking to Jake. "He's really nice... How long have you known him for??"

"Asra, sweetheart." I called softly, running my hand through his dark locks, receiving a tiny purr from him in return. He turned to me, bright blue eyes wide and childish, but they looked happy. I smiled softly. "It's just a picture... He's not actually there. But you can meet him in real life if you'd like." I explained.

Asra blinked, looking really surprised and shocked. He had to take a few glances back at my phone, at the picture just to make sure it wasn't just him.

Fuck, Asra... I love you...

"Oh." Was his only reply.

I laughed, squeezing his small body against mine, giving him a soft kiss on the neck. He squeaked and tried to squirm away, but the evil Zachary held him in place, torturing him with his deadly kisses!

"Noooo!! Don'tttt!" He squealed, finally able to make himself fall out of my grip. Luckily, it was just the couch, which had carpet underneath.

"Be more careful sweetheart! You could've hurt yourself!" I quickly replied, jumping up as soon as he slid. Thankfully, he was alright and not hurt.

"Zaaaach!" He whined, moving so that he was on his knees beside the couch, his chin resting on his hands on the side of the cushion.

I smiled. "Whaaat?" I cooed softly, cupping his face in my hands gently and placing a chaste kiss on his pale forehead.

I should really get him out more often... He's more white than a ghost! He needs some sun, maybe even a little bit of a tan! Anything to make him look less dead.

"I wanna go see him now..." He whimpered, gently gripping on the sleeve of my shirt. I sighed softly and gave him another kiss. "Tomorrow"

He pouted, but went along with it.

"I'll be right back okay? Gotta use the bathroom." And I stood up before he said anything else.

Closing the door to the bathroom, I pulled out my phone, turning it on and going to Jake's contact, pulling up messenger.

I sent him a text. Something along the lines of; 'My bf really wants to meet you, free tomorrow?'

It took a moment, but he did reply.

JJ: Ha, of course I am. Any time is good, dw. See you then?

I smiled, replying back.

Zachie<3: K, bye. Gn.

It was already turning dark outside, so in a few more hours, I would have to put both Asra and I to bed.

But I hadn't seen Lili all day, which was kind of odd, considering I'd at least see her ONCE a day.

I wandered over to her room after using the bathroom and washing my hands, tapping gently on the door, just in case she was busy, I didn't want to disturb her.

"Come in." That was something I hadn't heard for years, ever since she turned thirteen, actually.

I hesitated, but opened the door and stepping inside.

...

If my inner cuteness metre wasn't destroyed before, it definitely was now.

There was Asra, sitting on a black leather chair, in front of her vanity that had lights. Lili sitting in front of him on a chair that looked the same as the one Asra was sitting on.

And she had her makeup out, putting it on Asra- who didn't seem bothered at all by it. In fact, he had the biggest smile I've seen on his face as he looked up at me, big wide bright eyes sparkling happily.

"Zach! Zach! Do I look like a princess??" He asked, eyes curious and glimmery. I smiled softly, nodding.

Then I heard Lili's laugh as she continued to put foundation all on Asra's face. She was seriously good at makeup, she could be famous for it...

"Yes you do!" She giggled. "Pretty princess Asra!"

Well... They're getting along at least.
