Part 14

~Two weeks later~

Prom was in two weeks and graduation is in a month. I still had to find a dress for both occasions. Nobody has asked me to prom and I'm not surprised. Jack doesn't have a date either but Mark had asked a girl named Amy who he has been talking to for a while without me and Jack knowing and she said yes. But the problem is, I don't want to go dress shopping alone and I don't want to go with someone I don't know.

I walk up to the lunch table with my tray of lunch, sitting down in between Dan and Jack. Dan and Phil became part of our small group. Adrien was sitting next to Mark, but Marinette won't be back until the night before Prom.

"So who are you going with Phil?" Mark asks Phil, probably talking about Prom.

"Probably just go as friends with Dan," he says with a shrug.

"Do I not get a say in this?" Dan ask Phil.

"Nope, plus who else were you going to ask, your invisible girl friend?" Phil says laughing a bit.

"No, maybe I have a girl I have my eye on," Dan said with a smirk.

"Oh," Phil said seeming slightly disappointed.

"Sorry Phil, but hey if she denies me than we can go together," Dan said smiling at Phil to cheer him up, which it indeed did work.

"So Tori, who do you think your going to go with?" Jack asks me. I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't know, maybe I'll ask myself to Prom and go by myself," I said jokingly.

"Well Adriens going with Marinette, aren't you Adrien," Jack says making Adrien blush, causing the whole table to erupt in laughter. I give off a barely audible sigh thinking about Prom shopping as I pick at my food. Dan must've heard me though since he looked at me.

"You okay?" he whispers quietly.

"Yea, just not so excited about Prom shopping alone," I whispered with a small shrug.

"Me and Phil can come, I mean if it's not weird, but we have to get our tuxes anyways so it would be a win win," Dan suggests.

"That would be nice," I said.

"After school today?" he asks and I nod. That's when we all heard a yell across the room making me look over to find Evan drenched head to toe in a green in a green like substance, which is being poured on him by Del and Chad. Everyone laughs but me. I just turn around and continue eating while everyone laughs at him.

>After School<

I grab my bag, making sure I had everything in it before closing my locker. I turn around to find Dan and Phil waiting quietly.

"Oh, hi," I said making them laugh. I walked next to Dan as we all talked while walking out of the building towards the mall not that far away. After a while we soon find a store selling Prom dresses.

"So how are we going to find dresses for me to try on?" I ask as we stand a few feet in the store.

"We all could look for two dresses that might suit you and meet up at the changing room and let you try on the dresses," Phil suggests looking at the two of us. I nod my head and we all split up. I go down the middle, Phil goes to the left and Dan went to the right.

After a few minutes I make my way to the changing room area with a dark purple dress and a light blue one. I find Phil waiting holding a Emerald green dress and a dark blue one.

"I'll try these and when Dan gets here just toss them over the top with a warning or something," I said to Phil as I take his dresses and walk into the changing room. I first tried the dark purple one that was tight around the belly and fluffed out a bit, but it was slightly dull as there were no sparkles. I walk out to find Dan and Phil taking, Dan holding a black dress and a red dress.

"How does this one look?" I ask looking down. They looked over.

"I think it's too dull for you," Phil says, tilting his head to the side.

"I agree with Phil," Dan said.

"Alright, oh and I'll take those," I said taking the dresses from Dan. I then talk back in and change into the light blue one I found. It had lace long sleeves and a fitting top while it flows down the rest of the way. The top was slightly embedded with jewels lightly. I walk out and almost trip over the dress making the two laugh slightly.

"Honestly, I think it's too bright slash light for you," Dan said and Phil nodded. I nod and walk back in. I change into the Emerald green dress Phil found. It was a fitting dress and at the thigh it had a slit on the right. It had an ombre of jewels of a lighter green jewel. This time I had to walk slowly to get out and they laughed at my struggle again.

"The fact that you can barely walk in that dress immediately makes it a nope, even if it is pretty on you," Dan said with another small laugh. Phil nods and I walk back in. I then change into the dark blue one that fit at the belly and flowed down with a lighter layer of lace. I walk out and it took a while to think.

"I think that should be in the maybe pile," Phil said and Dan nodded. I walked back in and changed into the red dress Dan found. It was kind of like the green dress Phil found but it was a bright red and and a sequin rain type thing happening on the top, as well as the fact that the fabric was stretchier so I could walk slightly normal. I walk out and they shielded their eyes as a joke to the brightness.

"It's too bright my eyes are burning," Dan said with a laugh. Both me and Phil laugh as I turn and walk back in the changing room. I changed into the black dress and since it went up to the neck I had a hard time zipping up the dress so I left it half unzipped. It was fitted at the top and slight puffed out. There were these white jewels at the top and up the neck in a design that is hard to explain.

"Daaan," I groaned.

"Whaat," he groaned back.

"I need help zipping this up the rest of the way," I said as I opened the door slightly before turning around. I soon feel Dans hand on my back as he zipped up the dress.

"Alright, done," he said. I turn around to find Dan walking towards Phil again. Phils face showed a look of 'omg' and when Dan turned to look at me his jaw dropped as he stared making me laugh at the two.

"That's definitely the one," Phil said.

"You look gorgeous Tori," Dan said as his eyes lit up making my face go red.

"T-Thank Dan," I said. I go to change but then stop when I remember I need help unzipping.

"Uh, some help?" I ask as my face goes even redder. They both laugh as Dan walks over and helps me. I walk into the changing room and change back into my normal clothes and walk out with a heaping pie of dresses, putting all but the black one on the hanger next to the changing room. I paid for the dress and we walked out of the store and headed to the place they wanted to go to get their tuxes. I sat on a comfy chair as they got fitted and everything.
