I wake up to find that it was later in the day, or the next morning. I hope it was later in the day, otherwise mom is going to be furious. I sit up to find that all of us fell asleep. I sit up, stretching as an ache goes from my lower back all the way up my neck. I crack my neck before I go to turn around. I go to the kitchen and look at the clock to find that it was almost late at night. I take my phone out of my pocket to see that I don't have any missed calls. I call my mom, but her phone goes to voicemail. I sigh as I make my way over to the fridge, looking for something to drink. I grab a Mello Yello before closing the fridge and head back to the living room. They were all still asleep. I turn the TV off before putting blankets on all the guys. Mark and Jack were leaning away from each other while Dan and Phil were leaning against each other. Dans head was on Phils while Phil is curled up. I smile at them.
I take out my phone and just scroll through social media because I didn't want to head back home by myself when the sun is setting. A yawn escapes from my mouth as I grow tired again. I knew I was going to fall asleep again, so I send a text to my mom saying that I was staying here tonight before I head to the guest room. I sit on the bed and lay down, staring at the ceiling before my eyes slowly close once again.
Everything is dark. The loud sound of the rushing river below fill my eyes. Slowly my eyes open to find the stars in the sky above. Someone sniffles a few feet away from me, breaking my gaze with the stars. I look over to find someone with brown hair facing away from me. I sit up and I feel a pain in my heart. Like something is burning it. I wince before I reach over to touch the persons shoulder. He flings around and my heart stops. His blue eyes were clouded, tears streaming down his face, bringing tears to my own face. His hair was back to his natural brown.
"J-Jack?" I ask as I feel like my heart is slowly dissipating. Like there wasn't nothing there but sadness eating away at it.
"I-I can't he's gone, I c-can't," he whispers.
"I know Jack, I-I know," I said as I stand up.My vision goes black for a second, and when it comes back I am standing on the railing of the bridge, staring down at the river. My heartbeat rapidly increases to the point it feels like it had already jumped out of my chest into the river. Tears fall down my cheeks, as rapidly as the river below my feet. I want to get down from here. Step down and hug Jack till my feelings go away, but that feeling stopped when I saw him get up on the railing next to me.
"J-Jack," I ask as I reach a hand out. He looks over at me, his eyes glowing in the darkness. He looks down and grabs my hand.
"I love you," he says as he grips onto my hand.
"I love you two," I said and our heart tells us to get down, but out bodys lean forward as if gravity was forcing us to, no matter how hard we went against it. Soon our tears were going upwards, and coldness soon surrounds us before a pain goes through my head, my vision going black.
I sit up, sweat falling down my forehead. I take deep breathes as I wipe away the tears on my face. Without thinking, I get up and walk to the door. My hand grabs every sturdy thing I pass as I open the door and go down the hall to the bathroom. I grab a washcloth and get it wet with cold water before wiping my face with it.
"You okay?" I hear a voice ask making me jump. I grab onto the counter as I almost fell from my legs. A hand is immediately on my back to make sure I don't fall.
"Uh yeah, I-I'm fine," I said as I stand up again.
"Why are you out of your wheelchair," he asks as I turn to face him, his green hair seeming like it faded a lot overnight. I shrug my shoulders as I face the ground. He face shows worry as he helps me back to the room and onto my wheel chair, noticing the blankets strewn all over because of my nightmare.
"You had a nightmare, didn't you?" he asks. I stay quiet which causes Jack to sigh. He helps me out into the living room where everyone was now awake. I smile slightly at them.
"I should be heading home soon," I said with a sigh. They all nod.
"I should too," Jack says. We all say goodbye before me and Jack walk out the door. He pushes me into the elevator and all the way to my house. We both stand, or sit in my case, at my door, neither of us making a move to leave.
"Look," we say at the same time making us laugh.
"You first," I said with a small smile.
"I was just going to ask you about the nightmare, but if you don't want to talk about it that's fine," he said.
"I was actually going to tell you about it, how about we go in and sit in my room and then we'll talk," I said, sadness evident in my voice. He nods and opens the door, letting me in. He helps me up the stairs and into my room. I sit down on my new bean bag chair and sigh. Jack sits down on my other bean bag chair. I explain the nightmare to him slowly, not wanting to throw everything on him all at once.
When I am done he just stares at me, obviously thinking. I shift under his gaze as he does, thinking that I shouldn't have told him. I look down at the floor.
"I don't know how to react to that," he finally says.
"Neither could I but freak out," I said as I laid back. We sat in quiet until my eyes flutter closed.
