Lily's POV
I ran in the hermes cabin.
" there you are." Lloyd said, toying with a lip stick that he had probably stole from an Aphrodite girl.
"Just in time too. We were about to go to the mess hall to have dinner."
He smirks a cute, crooked smirk.
"I have a reason. Plus, we still have twenty minutes." I reply.
"What's your reason?" He asks suddenly alert.
" I know who my godly parent is." I say, pretending to fiddle with my nails.
"Who?" Everyone chants.
"Wait and see."
I hear a lot groans;some of the older hermes kids cuss (*cough cough* Lloyd did too.). I noticed Natasha was in the back of the room looking sad.
I went to Natasha AnD sat by her. I knew she felt uncomfortable.
"So your leaving after dinner, aren't you?" She said her head hanging low.
" Well, I'll visit everyday, promise." This made me feel said seeing her sad.
" I'm going do miss you!" She exclaimed, grabbing me in a tight hug. I could feel warm, wet drops on my back and I knew she was crying.
"I promise." I mumbled, slowly taking off the ring I had bought when I was still with my father. I missed him so much.
I gave it to her. "Here. you need to have this."
She tried to give it back. " what? but-!"
"Take it." I say, giving it to her. She put it on and sniffed. She dried her eyes.
We had only known each other for a few hours and now she felt like a sister I'd have always wanted.
" You're a great demigod. Don't forget it." I say, giving her a warm smile. Her smiles weak but she smiles back. I hug her again. " I will never leave your side." I whispered.
