The joyful voices of two children as they ran in the fields could be heard throughout the village of Locksley. Isabella, hand in hand with her older brother, Guy tumbled and rolled around in the autumn leaves as they laughed. Here was the love a brother had for his younger sister and who promised to care for her no matter what. Here was a love a younger sister had for her older brother as she looked up to him as a knight in shinging armor from one of her fairytales.

If you look, you can see an older brother caressing his younger sister's soft hair as the thunder rages on outside and she, scared snuggles up against her brother's chest with his strong arms protectively around her waist. A brother who whispers soothing words in his sister's ears as the tears fall and stains her cheeks. You can hear the brother tell his sister, “ I love you” and the sister replying, “ I love you too” to her brother. You can hear him sing his sister to sleep with the French lullabies their mother used to sing. You can see him smile and lean down to place a kiss on his sister's head, promising to be by her side always.

But look very carefully and the scene begins to fade away. Begins to become blurred memories.....blurred but beautiful ghosts of the past.
