I tapped my thumb on the left choice button that was titled 'answer' as I connected the communication device to my right ear.
Phone call
Sydney- hey addy
i smiled at the nickname she said. It brung back so much memories.
She gave me that nickname in 2nd grades concert, when i was struggling to fix my tangled hair that contained my small pink fairy designed comb.
Luckily she helped me. Long story short, i had to get a new hair comb.
Adeline- hey syd
I gave Sydney that nickname a couple of years ago.
We were playing truth and dare with a couple of our friends for my 'dress up' party and , one of my close friends, told me to give Sydney a nickname, I didn't hesitate to say Syd, and i still say it, till now.
S- so you excited as much as i am!?
i chuckled slightly before i reply
A- yea, I can't wait to be in the same school as my best friend, again!
S- same here adz
A- so where should we meet?
S- at the gates to the school, I'll help you with everything so you won't have to get
stuck with an unfamiliar person helping you. It would get kinda awkward i mean.
A- yea your right, can't wait!
S- Oh yea by the way, i need to warn you about somethings, but don't worry stick with me, nothing bad will happen, you'll get used to the ways things go around here soon enough.
A- thanks love, you really are the best, ok now gotta run byeee
S- love ya adeline byee!
and with that the phone call ended. I detached the silver iphone x from my ear as i made my way to the bus stop.
