Adeline's pov:

Phone call

"love you too bestiee" i replied enthusiastically.

And with that i was walking to school after I got of off the bus, since it can't be on school premises due to it not being a school bus, munching on the delicious bar in my left hand.

After about what seemed like an hour, which really was only a ten minute walk, I got there.

Gosh you really need to exercise.

I chuckled softly as i shook my head at my thoughts.

I made my way to the school gates as i anxiously waited for sydney.

"Hey, you new here? I've never seen you here before" said a male voice that was quite familiar to me.

As i turned to catch a glimpse of the person speaking to me. My mouth dropped.

"X-xavier" i spit out as tears formed in my eyes.

"..Adeline..?" he replied questioning if it was me.

I nodded as my vision became blurry.

"I missed you so much" he said as he engulfed me in a warm hug.

"I missed you too" i replied as i giggled softly while hugging him back.

"Um xavier?" Questioned a unfamiliar voice.

He let go from the hug as he tried finding out who called him.

"Oh hey"  he said.

I felt my heart getting torn apart to a thousand pieces.

He moved on?

Has he moved on?

She's probably a friend, chill adeline.

thoughts were running through my head rapidly as i was beginning to slightly drift away from reality

"Adeline, this is Madison." said the boy i currently was cursing on in my head.

"Hi, nice meeting you but i gotta run, nice seeing you again Xavier." I replied rapidly as i walked away to find the bathroom.

"Come to the bathroom im there" i typed as i pressed the send button on Sydney's contact.

I made my way to the bathroom, went into one of the stalls as i tried processing what just happened with hundreds of thoughts running through my head.
