Xavier's pov;

After school dismission

It was her. My mind can't even process what just happened.

I'm laying down on my king sized bed that's covered with blue sheets and comfy pillows, thinking about what happened earlier at school.

I found her.

Why is she here? Does she want me back? Does she still miss me? No, it can't be..

I sit down on my bed, just staring out of the window that was currently showing the mesmerizing sunset located on the white bedroom wall placed on the left of my bed.

-flashback-

"Adeline stop eating my ice cream give it back or I'm telling everyone in class you have cooties!" My 1st grade self said while sheepishly singing nananabubu with my hands

moving in a front and backward motion.

"you can't do that I'll break up with you haaaa!" Replied fetus adeline while sticking her tongue out.

"Bu-bu-but... MOMMMMMM" i screamed with tears forming in my eyes.

My mom and adeline's mom came rushing out to the backyard while asking "what's wrong?" "are you hurt?" "did anything happen?"

"Mommy adeline said she was gonna break up with me" i replied choking on my words

"Oh no she was joking, right adeline?" Replied her mom while placing her hands on her hips and raising her right eyebrow at adeline.

"he said he was gonna tell the whole school i have cooties" said adeline defending her actions while throwing the ice cream over the fence.

I chuckled slightly since i was the only one that noticed.

"See xavier, she was just joking adeline loves you" assured adeline's mom as she placed her.

left hand on my shoulder while giving me a assuring smile.

"Well kids cindy and I are gonna go back inside and finish our cup of coffee, call for us if you need anything" said my mom as she started walking inside.

"Hey um xav..?" Said adeline awkwardly

"Yes peaches?" I replied anxiously

"i wanna tell you something" she hastly spit out

"Adeline we're going home come inside and grab put on your coat." a voice shouted from inside the house.

"Just a minute" said adeline loud enough for her mom to hear

"Xavier?" said adeline while looking down at her feet

"Yea?" I replied

She walked towards me, giggled slightly, then placed a soft kiss on my lips, her cheeks became red so did mine.

"Nothing, just wanted to be your first kiss" she said overwhelmed with joy.

I just stood there staring at her with a wide smile.

"Adeline?" Said a voice from inside.

She looked back at the house then at me again.

"Bye xav" she said as she flashed me one of her cute teethshowing smiles.

"Uh- b-bye" i said as i watched her walk into the house to leave.

"Woah.." i whispered as i turned back to see the sun starting to set.

I'll never forget this

I layed down on my bed thinking about every single memory adeline and I shared, and boy were they a lot.

That was the last thing i remembered before i dozed off.
