When I wake up, I already know I’ve slept in. I can tell by the afternoon sunshine trying to flood through my window. Yawning, I grab my phone and yank it off charge. My Twitter is blown up with notifications, as always. I go downstairs, not even bothering to get dressed. I’ve got nowhere to go today, anyways. As I go downstairs, I see Shadow and Marley are sleeping. Of course they are. I go to the cabinets in my kitchen and grab some cereal. I don’t feel like doing anything too fancy. I quickly pour myself the cereal and devour it. Wow, I didn’t know I was that hungry.

Once I’m done, I go on Twitter and repeat what people are saying in their tweets. As soon as they try to roast me, I just laugh. But, there’s this one girl who I’ve noticed is always mentioning me. Huh, so her name is Emily. I click on her profile and the first thing I notice is how pretty she is. I scroll through her tweets to see that’s she’s going to Vidcon as well. Great. As I keep looking through her tweets, I see it’s mostly either retweets or tweets directed toward me.

Deciding to be nice, I reply to one of her recent tweets towards me. Soon, her friends are telling her that I replied to her. I let out a grin. And then, she notices. I can tell because she’s now spamming letters and tweeting them. I laugh, I didn’t know I had such an impact on girls. I reply to her a few more times, wondering what she’ll do. She just freaks out even more, spamming even more letters and even numbers. I decide to torture her more by following her and DMing her.

            Me: Hey

            Emily: Omfg hi

            Me: What’s up?

Emily: Not much, just kinda dying over here…

            Me: Why? Lol

Emily: Oh it’s not like one of my favourite Youtubers replied to me or anything

Me: I’m one of your favourite Youtubers?

            Emily: Yep.

Me: Oh cool, well maybe we could play Minecraft together, yeah?

            Emily: Sure, what’s your Skype?

I give her my Skype and next thing I know she’s calling me. I get really nervous, but pick up anyways.

“Hey, what’s up?” I say, trying to sound casual.

“Not much, how about you?” She giggles a bit. It’s actually fairly cute, but I don’t acknowledge it.

“Same same, did you want to play?” I ask, getting right to the point.

“Of course I do.” Emily says, and I can almost hear a smile in her voice.

So we do so. We first play on a survival server she created. After that, we just play Hunger Games and other PVP games.

“Graser… I’ve had a lot of fun playing. But the thing is, why did you message me? I mean, it’s not like we were friends or anything… Like you never really replied to me and now all of a sudden you want to play Minecraft with me…” She says, sounding a bit worried. Oh no... What should I say?
