My alarm beeps out an annoying tune. I groan and slam my fist down on my phone, missing the snooze button. The tune keeps going and I grab my phone and turn off the alarm. I lie in bed for a few more minutes before actually getting up. Finally, I get up and shower. After that, I get ready for the first day of Vidcon. I wonder how many fans will actually show up to meet me.

When I finish, I run down to the hotel lobby. People are filing outside of the hotel, some are screaming fans. Of course there are a lot of people. I stayed at a hotel where most of the other Youtubers would be. Fans push me out the door, leaving me no choice but to follow the crowd. As I quickly run to the convention center, a girl bumps into me.

“Oh, I’m sorry!” She says, giggling. I just shake my head and keep running. Once I reach the convention center, I get checked in and go to the place where I’ll be meeting my fans. The table is already set up, sweet. That’s less work for me. By the time it’s 10:00am, the hall I’m in is flooded with people. Are they all here to see me? Nah, probably not.

“Graser!” I hear a girl yell, and then giggle. I smirk a bit.

She makes her way to me, and I realize it’s the girl who bumped into me earlier.

“Well you really wanted to meet me, didn’t you?” I chuckle, trying to be friendly.

“I did,” She winks, coming closer to me.

“So what’s your name?” I ask, trying to keep the conversation light. I can tell she’s trying to be flirty but I don’t want that.

  “I’m Ray,” She smiles.

  “Cool,” I reply happily.

“I’ve been watching your videos since forever!” Ray lets out a small laugh.

“Oh, yeah? What’s your favourite video?” I question.

“Probably any of your Hunger Games! They’re hilarious and your laugh is to die for.” She moves even closer to me, way too close for comfort. I back away and I can see her scowl under her grin.

“It was nice meeting you, Ray.” I say, running my hands through my hair.

“What? Am I not good enough for you?” She says angrily.

  “What?” I respond, confused.

“I knew it. You want me to leave, right?” Ray’s amber eyes glow.

“I have other fans to meet,” I say, not really responding to her.

“You know the fans are worried about us,” She says sadly.

“What do you mean they’re worried about ‘us’?” My eyebrows furrow together.

“Well, a lot of people ship us together.” Ray giggles a bit at the thought of that.

“That’s cool?” I reply, not knowing if that was the right answer. A flash of anger crosses her face. I guess it wasn’t.

“Come on Graser, you know you want me.” She winks and flips her auburn hair over her shoulder. She comes closer to me and snakes her arms around my neck.

“I want you Graser,” Ray whispers in my ear. She’s trying to get it on with me. I really don’t want that. I try to get away, and when I look away I see Emily standing there watching us. Shit.
