Still Neji's POV
"Haru, what did I tell you before agreeing to help you?" I ask, twitching my eye at the girl who really didn't know anything about taijutsu. She turns to me sheepishly and scratched the back of her head. "To not waste your time?" She asked to which I roll my eyes.
I walked over to her and grabbed her gloved fist, turning it the other way. "That's how you punch something correctly, if you don't do it this way you're at risk of breaking your hand." I said watching her face carefully.
She didn't even know how to throw a punch properly! "Okay I think I can do it." she says smiling up at me. She needs to stop doing that!
I nod and let go of her fist, I point to the row of wooden dummies. "Now go punch them the proper way while I actually train." I say before walking away from her. She really is hopeless, she has such powerful clan names but she's terrible at taijutsu, even Hinata could beat her in a taijutsu match.
I look back at her from afar to see what on earth she's doing and roll my eyes at what I see. "Crystal lance!" She yelled, piercing the wooden dummy with her crystal arm. I walk over to her, and click my tongue when I realized she got stuck.
Isn't she supposed to be much more advanced than this? "Haru, taijutsu. Not ninjutsu." I said watching as the crystal around her arm dispersed into glittering pieces on the floor.
"Hehe right! my hand hurt after I punched it so I got angry and stabbed it." She explained gesturing to the large gaping whole in the middle of the dummy's chest.
"Right." I say, completely done with her. I watch as the sun starts to set and start walking away from Haru, leaving her confused. "Neji?! Where are you going?" She asks walking behind me. I turn around and narrow my eyes at her smaller self.
"I'm leaving Haru. I've been here for two hours straight and proved myself to be right. You haven't improved in the slightest." I coldly say watching her red eyes narrow at mine. "Okay but you're here to help me." She says getting even closer to me. I bend down to her face level and glare at her, lightning connecting our eyes.
"I came here to train, not baby sit." I respond. She was about to retort but we were interrupted by someone yanking Haru backwards. "What are you doing?!" Kakashi sensei asks looking at her like he had just seen a puppy die.
"What do you mean sensei?" She asks slapping his hand away from her collar. "You're too young for this Haru!" He exclaimed pointing at me. Her jaw dropped to the floor and her cheeks reddened fiercely. "Wait wait wait What do you mean?!" She squeaked instantly backing away from him.
"I know what I saw Haru, and you are way too young to be kissing boys!" kakashi said making me arch a brow. What?
Haru's face got even redder somehow and punched Kakashi sensei's stomach, throwing him through a bunch of trees. I arch a brow at Haru. "See, that's how you throw a punch." I say, she rolls her eyes in response.
"Neji aren't you going to fight Naruto first for the tournament?" She asks after a moment of silence. Before I realized it, we were walking together through the Senju compounds. "Yes, and I will win." I say crossing my arms over my chest.
"But how could you be so sure?" She asked. I look at her from the corner of my eye, "It's my destiny to win." I respond. None of us said anything after that but instead walked around, I felt many chakra signatures around us and rolled my eyes. Why are all those annoying academy graduates following us?
