A Lydia Party

Today I finally just get to be a normal teenager. Today Lydia is throwing one of her famous parties. You know since I'm a freshman I haven't been to a lot of parties. I plan to have as much fun tonight as I can. I throw on a white dress and black cover up. I do my hair and make it kinda of wavy. I hear a knock on the door as I run down stairs.

"Hey....you ready to go?"Liam says, waiting for me in my doorway. Yeah, Liam's picking me up with Kira. Though it's not like a date or anything.

"Yep."I say as I hop in Kira's car. So Liam and me are just friends. Though that's better than him kinda of hating me. We get to Lydia's house and I see about 30 cars parked outside. I walk in and hear the blasting music. It's 20% louder due to the fact that I'm a werewolf. I pick up a red cup full of something. I chug it down but, it doesn't really taste like anything. I start dancing to the music as I see more of my friends. Riley, Lucas, Zay, and Frakle are all talking in the corner.

    "Hey."

     "Hey..."Lucas say as everyone waves at me. Time ticks by as we dance the night away. The music blares as we all jump up and down to the beat.  I'm having so much fun. I see Kira and Scott making out on the other side of the room. So they are a couple, I knew it. I sit down on the couch, looking around. Suddenly my head hurts, I have a pounding headache. I see Liam sit down next to me.

      "What's wrong Maya?"he asks me. My claws then come out and my eyes turn yellow. "Maya, what's happening?"

    "I don't know...my head.."I say holding my hands to my head.

      "Okay I just need you to calm down...stay calm."

     "I'm trying..."I say looking at him with my yellow eyes. He looks me in the eyes, his face moving closer to mine.

     "What are you doing?"I say looking from him to me.

      "Helping you."he says and with that his lips touch mine. His kiss is soft and warm. It makes fireworks explode inside of me. He's kissing me, Liam is kissing me! I kiss back putting my hands in his hair. Our lips move in sync with each other. The kiss seems like it lasted forever. He soon lets go of me and I stare at him. I look down to see my claws, fangs, and yellow eyes are gone. Liam gets up and walks away. What just happened? Liam kissed me and then walks away. I relive the kiss again and sit there. I want to go after him and kiss him again. I just sit there, frozen.

      I find Kira as she drives me home. Apparently Liam walked home about an hour ago. I really wanted to talk to him about what happened. Though it's like he doesn't want to talk to me since the kiss.

     "Maya is something wrong?"Kira asks me, pulling me from my thoughts.

      "Umm-no. Just thinking about something."

      "If your worried about Liam...don't worry he'll be fine."she says as I nod my head. I get home and lye on my bed. Why did Liam leave...why did he walk away after the kiss? What is going through Liam's head?
