"I'm kind of nervous." I said, fumbling with my costume.
"Don't worry, Max! You'll do GREAT!" Nikki said, putting facepaint on.
"Not about that, I mean.." I sighed. "Nevermind."
Niel patted me on the back. "No one's going to judge you." I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks... I mean- Shut up." I looked at Preston. He looked more worried than I was.
"Don't worry, Pres. I'm sure we'll fucking kill it out there." I said, smiling.
He leaned in and hugged me. Tighter than any human could possibly do..

A few lines and scenes later (;

"Saints don't move, even when they grant prayers." I sang, staring deeply into his eyes. I hope he was ready for the kiss.
"Then don't move while I act out my prayer." He said confidently, then pulled me into a kiss. His lips felt soft, like he had applied lip balm 100 times. I grabbed his neck and gave into the kiss. I almost fell over, he was dipping me so hard.
I heard David and Gwen and a few other campers squealing from the audience.
Then I heard it.
"Ew! Gays!"
I knew it was Nurf. I slowly released from the kiss and looked straight at Nurf.
"Yeah, we're a gay couple, what does that do to hurt YOU, DIPSHIT?" I hissed, jumping off of the stage and walking up to Nerf. "You can take your fat, homophobic ASS and get out of here!" I growled.
"Oh yeah? Wanna go, short boy?" Nerf said, standing up.
"Kids! Kids! Stop! We're all equal, gay or not!" David said, trying to break us apart. But no.
"Yes I do! No one insults my FUCKING boyfriend and I!" I hollered, punching his face.
"MAX! WATCH OUT!" Preston yelled. I looked behind me. He pointed behind me. Oh no. Oh no..
"Homosexuals should die in a fire!" I fell to the ground, feeling nothing but pain.
