"Y-" Before Milyah had her chance to answer, Adrien Agreste walked in, causing two Kwamis to hide.
"Sorry Milyah, I forgot about our project!"
Milyah shrugged it off. "It's fine./
"Speaking of your project...." Started Cheshire, knowing what was coming before he even arrived.
Nino ran in. "HERE!!!"
There was a faint Cheshire-like grin upon her face. "Yeah, thought so."
Milyah grinned. "Hey Nino!"
"Hi!" Waved Adrien.
"Hey dudes. How are you doing after that latest Akuma attack?" Nino took a quick glance at Cheshire, "How're the SANE people doing?"
The girl shrugged at his comment and curled up into a ball quite catlike.
"That's fair." -Cheshire
Yeah no kidding.
"Fine. Like a normal person," stated Milyah, barely masking her near-explosive exitement.
Adrien nodded. "Yeah."
"It's good that everyone seems good. Also, the two new heroes!!"
Cheshire's invisible ears perked up, but still she remained laying down.
Milyah thought her smile could be highly infectious, seeing as it wouldn't leave her face. Maybe she needed help... "Mmmhm! The new heroes! What do ya think of them?"
"You already heard my answer!" Adrien smiled. Yep. Definitely infectious.
"I think they're pretty cool! I just really hope they don't do something really stupid..." Nino grimaced at the mere thought of possibities.
Cheshire snickered, clearly teasing as she said, "I'm pretty sure they will. Or at least, I think Dawn might."
Milyah shrugged with a smile but when no one was looking, she glared softly at Cheshire. "Heh. Well who knows."
"Who knows," Adrien repeated, "And why do you say that Cheshire?"
The almost-cat leaned forward and stretched like a cat would after a nap. She sighed. "Dunno. I'm just guessing, but I'd say she's got a problem with her memory or something. Oh! And getting lost! At least, I'd presume." On the last word, she flashed her namesake grin and purred.
Nino laughed. "You know something? Alya is super mad because she could only find pictures of one of them. They other just hasn't been recorded on phone yet. They don't even have her name."
Milyah tilted her head in confusion. "Which one?"
Nino trued to recall which it was he saw. "The new cat one I think it was. Just a few people who were there know what it looks like."
Milyah played dumb in a situation she could have talked about for hours. "Huh. Sounds weird. Well, from what I hear, they have great humor."
Adrien agreed. "I've heard of that too."
"Make that three!" Added Cheshire.
Still, Nino felt suspicious. "Hmmm...."
"Whatcha thinking about?" Questioned Milyah.
"Hm?" Stated Adrien.
"How weird you dudes are acting about these heroes. Alya may have just rubbed off on me, but it seems really off..."
Milyah was calm on the outside, and panicking on the inside. "Huh."
In a swift teleportation, Cheshire appeared behind Milyah and whispered in her friend's ear, "You're such a bad liar~"
Milyah softly glared at Cheshire again, who had returned to her perch, looking as innocent as she possibly could.
Adrien was the only one to answer Nino, hoping a white lie would suffice. "I think she has rubbed off on you."
"I guess you're right...."
Nino felt ridiculously defeated for a reason he couldn't fully understand.
"It's okay. Anything can feel off sometimes." Adrien the psychiatrist said.
Cheshire was dumbfounded. ".... Am I just gonna be the only one thrown off by this conversation? And not for the reasons Nino probably has."
"Probably not." It was Milyah's turn to smile innocently.
"Welp. This is getting awkward for me. So, I'm gone."
Cheshire walked into a shadowed area of the room and disappeared without a trace.
So weird.
"It's a Cheshire Cat thing. I can't help it." - an apologetic Cheshire
"I'm still wondering how she does that," said Agreste child.
"I'm used to it by now." Milyah told.
"Ready to start the project?" Asked Nino, the only responsible one at the moment.
Milyah nodded.
"Yep!"
Nino grinned. "Then let us finally begin!!"
