POV-Nathan

I stand anxiously next to Fila.  She places a gentle hand on my shoulder and quietly tells me, “Don’t worry, Nathan, She’ll be back.”  I give an impatient sigh as I watch Endelyn enter through her back door.  “If she doesn’t return we’ll be out of luck and all will be in ruins,” I say, clenching my fist around my dagger.  Fila responds, “Just wait, I’m pretty sure she is coming.”

I stay there not moving, seeing the first rays of dawn approaching.  “I sure hope you’re correct, Fila.  I sure hope.”  I glance over at Fila sensing her gaze.  “What?”  I say exasperatedly.  “You’re going to go after her, aren’t you?  I know you too well,” Fila answers.  “I was planning on it,” I answer.  “Nathan,” she says with a hint of warning in her voice.  “Okay, okay!” I say defeated.  “Just give her fifteen minutes, you’ll see,” Fila insists.

We wait.  Then suddenly … BOOM!!
