The Secret Few: Chapter 5

Scarlett's P.O.V.

I struggled.

We had been packed into a car and took off.

I wanted to stare out of the window, but they covered me in a blanket and I couldn't wriggle my way out of it.

I had to get out.

I tried morphing. Still nothing.

I saw the end of the blanket a little bit farther from where my head rested.

I set my jaw in determination and wriggled. 

Closer.

Closer.

The blanket was yanked off of me.

Kevin stood above me. The sun was starting to go down. We had been in the car for an entire day.

He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

I went limp.

It was no use.

There was nothing that I could do.

"I'll show you were your room is," said Kevin. "and where mine is."

I wasn't sure what to think about that. 

Kevin stopped outside a door. "Here's mine." Then he walked down the hall a bit. "Here's yours." He opened the door and I took the site in.

The room was small and had a small desk, complete with paper and pens.

The walls were a soft teal and the bed was a light green color.

He set me on the ground and untied my wrists.

"Enjoy." With that he left. 

I reached for the door handle. 

Locked.

I went and sat on the bed. The covers felt soft and warm.

I went over to the desk and sat down. I picked out a pen and started writing.

Then I folded into an airplane and walked over the the window.

I opened the window and was greeted by a blast of cold air.

I looked up at the brightest star in the sky and closed my eyes.

I made a wish.

Then I let the plane go.

I went to bed, hoping that the star heard my wish.

It did.

Sorry. This was a short chapter... Scarlett's chapters are gonna have to be short now that she is captured. Sorry.

We went to the Avengers movie with a guy friend and I think he's kinda mad at me...

Mine is Black Widow and HawkEye. The two without any powers! XD
