We walked into the bar. I watched people that were drunk falling off their stools and the occasional person tripping in midair. But, there were many sober people too.

"Let's get this party started!" Jordan said. I laughed and rolled my eyes at my best friend. We went off to the dance floor and started dancing to Scotty McCreery's song See You Tonight.

"I love this song!" Jordan practically yelled over the loud music. "Me too!" I yelled back. Jordan was cracking me up, she was throwing her arms up in the air, swaying to the music, and making funny faces at me.

While I was dancing next to Jordan, I was glancing around and taking in my surroundings. When my eyes laid on the cute guy that I literally ran into earlier, I noticed he was watching me. He smiled and winked. I just rolled my eyes but I couldn't help the slight blush that graced my cheeks.

"Who's the hottie checking you out?" Jordan asked. I just shrugged my shoulders indicating that I didn't know. " Well I'm going to get us a drink," she stated. "You're lucky we're both 22 or your brother would have our heads," I laughed. She laughed along with me and shook her head, "Well then we're lucky that he isn't here." and with that she walked away to get our drinks.

"Fancy seeing you here," a voice said behind me. I turned around and recognized him as the boy that was staring at me moments before.

"There's nothing fancy about me," I stated.

"No offense but I can kind of see that," he replied back.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I wanted to see if you would dance with me," he half asked.

" And why would I do that?" I questioned.

"Because I'm ruggedly handsome, a bull rider, and I saw you blush a few minutes ago." he said.

"Wow, cocky much?" I said sarcastically.

"Come on just one dance," he whined.

"No." I said.

"Then how about a drink?" he asked.

"I already told you once, your charm isn't going to work on me." I said

"Oh, so you admit that I have charm?" he said amused.

I just rolled my eyes and walked to my best friend. Who was currently sitting on a bar stool at the counter, talking to some guy.

"We need to go Jord." I said to her. I glared at the guy and he walked off.

"Why? We just got here." she said.

"Because-" I started but then I got interrupted.

"Long time no see Amber." someone said. I froze and looked at Jordan who was currently glaring at Him. I slowly turned around.

"Hunter..." I slowly said.

"How have you been Ams?" he questioned.

"Don't call me that." I said harshly. He smiled, more of a sickly smile, the kind that makes you want to throw up. It was really starting to make me uncomfortable.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I just wanted to see you," he said.

"You're making the lady uncomfortable and quite frankly me too." someone said. I glanced behind Hunter's shoulder and Hunter turned around, but had to step back when he realized that the guy was right in his face. The guy whom I never caught his name in both of our encounters. He towered over Hunter.

"I don't think that this is any of your business," Hunter started.

"Oh, I think it is. Especially when it has to do with one of my friends.," The mystery guy spoke again.

"Ah, you made some friends did you Ams? I'm surprised that you have any guy friends. I mean it's been since what? High school?" Hunter asked me.

"That's none of your business Hunter." I clarified.

"Oh I think-" but he got interrupted, again.

"Leave her alone or you are going to regret it." the guy warned again. Hunter finally got the hint and scurried off. I was in too much shock to answer so Jordan did.

"Thank you." she said.

"No problem," he replied back.

"I'm Jordan Fewkes by the way." she said. And before he could answer I quickly came to my senses and interrupted.

"We need to go Jord," I say. She nodded her head and waved to the guy. We were walking towards the door when he asked me something.

"How about I get you name instead?" he asked. I turned around and smiled slightly, I don't know why but I felt comfortable around him. I usually comfortable around my brothers but, no one guys.

"Amber Jennings," I responded. He said my first name as if he was trying the taste of it in his mouth. He must've like my name because he smiled. I like his smile.

"Tatum West," he said. And then I smiled. I waved and Jordan and I ran out of the bar.
