^Tatum West (Not exactly how I wanted him to look but close enough)^

I turned around slowly and softly smiled. "Hey," I said. Tatum walked up to me and stood in front of me, "So you know how I asked you for your name? Can I get your number now?"

I looked him directly eyes and said, "You're really going to have to try harder than that." And with that I walked away towards my trailer. I was almost out of the barn when he spoke again, "And how do you suggest I do that?" I turned, walking away from him still, but backwards, "Figure it our Cowboy. I mean you couldn't have fallen on your head that hard in those many eight second rides, to come up with something." I replied.

He chuckled, "You you're pretty cute." I turned my head over my shoulder to look at him as I was now continuing back to the trailer and said, "Oh honey, I'm a lot more than just pretty cute." He looked at me and smiled. I continued on my journey to the trailer.

Once I got back to the trailer, I made myself a sandwich. Jordan left a note on the counter saying that she went to the grocery store. I decided to watch a movie, so I went to to pick a DVD. But got interrupted when I went to go put in, Flicka. I knew it wasn't Jordan because she would've just come in. But then again she could have her hands full with groceries so I went to go open it. And of course it was Tatum. I seriously just saw him 20 minutes ago. I looked at him fora second and I finally asked him what he was doing here. He looked at me, " I was wondering if you were competing tonight." I shook my head, "No, tomorrow. Why?" He looked slightly disappointed with my answer but I wasn't sure why. "Well I was wondering if you would take the honor into being my good luck charm. Especially for my ride tonight, I mean there's some pretty tough competition here today." I looked at him and laughed out loud and in a slight baby voice I said, "I'm sure you can handle it. You're a big boy." He rolled his eyes at this.

"Plus," I said, " don't you have some buckle bunny for that? And I barely even know you." He smirked at me and shook his head slightly as if he couldn't believe that I said that. "Yes, I probably could get a buckle bunny for  that," dragging out the words: buckle bunny, "But, I would much rather it be you."

I raised an eyebrow at this, "And why is that?" I asked. He smiled, i think he thought that I was considering it, but I wasn't in the slightest. "Because I like you." he stated as if it was a obvious answer. And don't get me wrong, I've been hit on before but his words didn't seem like he was being a flirt. He seemed more like a gentleman and different, a good different. By now, I was honestly considering it.

I looked at him and said," I'll think about it." And shut the trailer door. Through the door I could hear him speaking, "Great! Meet me at the chutes before bull riding starts." I chuckled and rolled my eyes. I didn't even bother with a response.

He seemed nice and cute, but I just don't want to get ahead of myself and get hurt again. Before I could go deeper into my thoughts Jordan burst through the door and looked like she just ran a marathon.

"You okay?" I asked her, genuinely concerned. She shakes her head. "What? What is it?" and by this point I was standing up. She was trying to catch her breath, so I grabbed her a water bottle from the fridge. She took a large swig form it and sat down on the couch.

Once she caught her breath she than starting speaking, "I just saw Hunter at the store." I looked at her, trying to process those dreaded words, "Did he see you?" She looked at me and shook her head. Then I responded again, "Well we aren't leaving if that's what you're thinking. If we see him, we see him. Then we just ignore him, we don't even acknowledge his presence.

She looked at me, because I normally want to avoid him at all costs, but from now on it is going to be different. I have to face my problems eventually.

" Are you sure?" she questions. I nod, "Let's go watch the rodeo tonight. Plus I have some things that I want fill you in on. And then I proceeded to tell her about my encounters with Tatum.
