Lost (Sequel to Wicked)

Chapter 10

*The Next Day in Luna's Room*

       Luna woke up with a yawn. She opened her eyes to see that Ban was sleeping peacefully beside she. Moving closer to him she smiled. She really was falling for this guy, she wanted to stay with him for the rest of her life. When Ban groaned Luna came out of her deeps thoughts. "Good morning, Love." Ban said wrapping his arms around Luna. "Morning." She mumbled, loving the feeling of his bare body against hers. Sighing Ban kissed Luna's nose. "There is something, I need to tell you, so just hear me out okay?" Making Luna a little nervous, but she nodded her head anyway.

      Ban sighed then started talking. "I have to go away for a little while....with Gabby." Luna sat up in the bed immediately. "What do you mean 'with Gabby' leaving to do what?" Ban continued to look at the wall. "We are going to go spy on Rin and his people."

"And why can't you do that with us?" Luna paused to let Ban talk, but then cut him off before he could even get a word out. "You know what, I don't care because I don't want you going." Ban sat up with rage in his eyes. "Why because you don't like that I'm putting my life in danger, or is it the fact that you think I'm  going to cheat on you with Gabby?" To be honest Luna thought neither until he said something about both of them. She got up from the bed with on of the blankets wrapped around her body.

     "Answer me, Luna!" Ban yelled at her. Ban didn't like being ignored and Luna doesn't like being yelled at. Luna spun around and starred daggers at Ban. "You want to to know so bad?" Luna yelled flinging on of her hands in the air while the other one held onto the blanket to keep from flashing him. "It's because I can't deal with losing anyone else, you jerk!" Luna's voiced cracked. "I lost my dad for about ten years, my mom is dead, and if you die I won't be able to take that kind of pain anymore!" Luna's voice cracked even more and the anger in Ban's face drained away and was replaced with sympathy.

Finally losing her voice Luna had to squeeze out her last reply. "I just can't deal with that." She whispered then locked herself in the bathroom, not wanting Ban to see her crying again.

*In Dawn's room*

      Dawn had just got done with taking a shower, brushing her teeth and putting her clothes on when there was a knock at her bedroom door. Dawn opened it and was surprised to see Sinbad at the door.  Letting him inside her room and closing the door behind him, Dawn smiled and said. "What's up?" Sinbad looked at her and started pacing back and forth trying to figure out how he was going to explain this to her her. Looking concerned Dawn placed a hand on her shoulder. "What is it?" Finally looked up at her without pacing he told Dawn what he thought was going on. "I think my dad is working with Rin and her people. Just think about it. First he appears of of thin air even though he is supposed to be dead and then with all this information he is giving us always seems to be getting up in even more danger." Taking a breath he looked at Dawn. Dawn didn't know what to say so she decided not to say anything at all.

    After a while Sinbad realized that she wasn't going to say anything so he kept his story going. "You don't have to believe me just hear me out when I say I don't think we can trust him. I think he isn't my real dad." Dawn finally took a deep breathe and then spook. "Okay I believe you, but don't let him now your on to him of then something bad will happen to you and no one is going to be able to handle that, we are actually starting to like you. And I also think we should tell Luna what you think is going to."

     Sin shook his head violently. "No we can't tell her. I know she thinks she has thievery under control, but she doesn't. She is not going to be able to take that the news of her father coming back from the dead only to realize that, oh, it's NOT really her father after all!" He had a good point there, Dawn thought. But, she couldn't lie too her friend this was too important, but then again Sin was right she wouldn't be able to take that pain. "Fine I won't tell her, now get out of my room so I can finish cleaning." Sin smiled and basically skipped out of the room with joy.
