"There has to be a cure, right? Can we save him Gothie?" Astrid asked in panic trying to hold her tears. Gothi started wrighting something "There's only a plant named Athelas. (Pic👆)Only that can take away the poison." Gobber translated. "How much time do we have?"Valka asked ready to cry too. Two sunsets was the answer. "But, we don't have Athelas here!"said Fishlegss."And the closest island is..." "Corona!"said Snotlout. "I'll stay here!"said Valka. Astrid was ready to stay to but Gobber told to her "Don't tell me you are going to let Snotlout and the twins with fishlegs!" Astrid looked at the floor. "But it's two sunsets only to get there!" Ruffnut noticed. "Then I suggest you'd probably go" Valka said. Hiccup screemed in pain from the iside room. "NOW! We will take care of him"Valka continieued. "Just..." Astrid wispired"Give me a moment" she said and run inside.
She went to him, put her hand on his face and attached their forheads. A tear feel from her eyes to his cheek. Hiccup was breathing fast from the pain that hadn't stop yet. "Don't cry" he managed to say and hold her hand. "I just wanted to say 'goodbye' " she said and kissed him and he kissed back 😘😘😘. He touched her braid. He always loved the ordor of her hair. They pulled away from the kiss but their forheads were still attached. "I have to go" she said and an other tear feel from her eyes. Hiccup wiped it out. "Go... And... do not cry..." Astrid nodded and went to Stormfly. Soon they couldn't be seen to the horizon.
Hiccup screamed again and hold his shoulder.
Gothie went to him. Soon Valka was there with Gobber to. Gothie took Hiccup's hand of his shoulder. They gave to each other a worried look. His skin was getting darker as the poison was talking place to his body. He couldn't stop breathing fast. He was in pain. A pain that no one can understand. He was hurting more than a woman who was giving birth. "The poison will kill him when it will covers his heart."Gobber said.
{-Next morning-}
They riders were resting on an island. Their mood was VERY down no one wanted to talk. Astrid was looking at the Haddock's family gift Hiccup gave her a year ago. His words came like they were from other world in her mind. "Astrid you are part of our family. You've always have been and I hope you always will be" and then started to cry. She wanted to scream. She stood up and walked to the edge of the cliff. And then she screamed. She screamed loud enough to make everyone cover their ears and dragons to complain. Then she fell on her knees. She didn't care about anything else except Hiccup anymore. Ruffnut walked to her, helped her to sand and got her away from the cliff, in case she had any crazy idea. She was holding the gift so tight that her hands stared bleading.

They sat down. Ruffnut hugged her protectly. "Don't you worry... We will make it... Remember all these times he almost die? He made it more than five years..." she said trying to encourage her. But Astrid was shaking her head and holding even tighter the metalion. "No... No,no,no,no... This is different! This time it's up to us. Toothless can't help him neither someone else can! Us... It's just us. WE HAVE NO POSSIBILITY TO MAKE IT IN TIME! NOT EVEN ONE!" She said and cried more. "And...and..." "And what?" Ruff asked. Astrid replied but nobody understood what she said. "What?" Tuff asked. "I'M PREGNAT!"she screamed. "I was planing to tell him tonight but....."she finished "Hey, he is no giving up so easyly. I know it's hard and I'm not Heather so I cant help you that much, but try to pull yourself togeather, we need to go on" Ruffnut explained.

Since the morning everyone went to Valka to know wgat happened. And she told them. Of course not that he will maybe die but just tha he is hurt andthat Gothie said that he needs to rest and heel. Everyone trusted Gothie. She could solve almost all if their problems. But some Berkians didnt trust Valka so much. After all she left for 20 years and 5% of the people of Berk couldnt understand whow Hiccup forgave her. Anyways, the hard-persuated people went to Gothie to. Thankfuly she had the exact same thought. After lunch time everyone on Berk knew what happened. At least the half of it. 
Meanwhile Hiccup's condition was getting worse from hour to hour. He didnt want to eat nor drink. The half of his body was alreadypale dark. Last night he went to his home, to take his notebook, while Valka was asleep next to him. The pain never stopped, but he decided to fight it. Gothie said that the poison was moving unusaly slow in his viens. He wanted to stay alive, for Astrid, and his organism was following. 
(Also they had moved him to the room in Gobber's shop so it would be easyer to contact. And Gothie needs some rest to sometimes.)
Tha evening, when Gobber went to check on Hiccup but he found him working on his shop. 
"What in Thor's name are you doing here?"he askedsurprised. "Toothless needs to fly alone if I am gone." Hiccup repliedstrangely calml and oppened a wing for Toothless that he can control on his own. "Oh, dont say that! Come on you have to lay down." Gobber said and reached his hand to take Hiccup's, but he took it away fast. "I dont wanna lay down!" Hiccup said with the tears ready to fill his eyes " if I lay down I feel that I will never get up! When I lay down I feel extremly, unbelivably weak! I hate that fealing! Since I was eight I used to feal that all time! Since I got Toothless I hadnt felt weak many times again. And now it's back! Weakness is back! I want it to leave! I-WANT-TO BE-STRONG!" He said and then he felt an arrow stabing him on his hurt, thar made him to put his hands over it and kneel. He was getting dizy. Everything as fade Gobber's voice calling him was heardas it camefrom other world. Then everything was black.
