Two weeks after a destroyable battle seem enough for the man from the north called Drago Bloodvirst to built up again a fleet to attack Berk and say that nothing is over yet.
Hiccup, with the riders and the allys they have met in the previous years...
Five whole months passed Heather got pregnant to. She was at her forth month while Astrid on her seventh. Hiccup has been prepearing the army all this time because he knew, Drago could attack any second. Meanwhile Singrid and Arne had became a couple. Everything was runing normaly until that day something came to get them back to action.
Astrid was sitting on her chair. Stormfly was keeping her company. Sudently..... Astrid screamed and put her hands over her stomach. Stormfly went closer to her and smeled the air. She understood what was happening. She rushed out of the house and flew as fast as she could to Singrid. She started runing around her. "What's wrong Stormfly"she asked. With some movements Stormfly managed to make her understand. Singrid run to Gobber's shop to find Valka. "Mother is giving birth!" She said loudly with no breath left in her lugs. "Isnt it to early?"Valka asked while joining Singrid's race. When they opened the door they saw Astrid on the floor. They two moved her on the bed. "Singrid go find Brynhilde, Gothie and Hiccup. I'm gonna bring some towels."Valka said and Singrid followed her words. The two women were there some minutes later.
Astrid's screams called all village to the house. Soon enough Hiccup with Singrid arrived. Hiccup made his way through the crowd and finaly found the closed door. Valka went outside. "What is happening mother? This should be happening in two months!"he asked anxiously. "I know. It runs on the family....It's going to be a tough day for her"Valka answered. A scream was heard from inside. "I need to go to her" Hiccup said and went to open the door but Valka stoped him puting her heand on his chest. "No men are allowed inside. Not yet. Just be patient okay?"She said and walked inside.
Half an hour pased. Hiccup was still sanding next to the door, hearing clearly every scream.He also heard Astrid saying through her pain: "Why does it hurt so much?"
The door opened again. Valka showed up again. "What is it?"Hiccup asked anxiously again "We dont know..." Valka said hesitantly. "You dont know what?" "We dont know yet if she is gonna make it. We are not sure for any of them." Hiccup lost the ground underneath his feet. Even thinking of Astrid dead could kill him. He got dizzy. He could have fell down if he didnt got a hold of the table. Valka touched his shoulder. Hiccup made a suden move and run into the room.
He saw Astrid on their bed. A bed that might be empty tomorrow. Gothie with some women were trying to pull out the baby, while Brynhilde has standing next to her. Hiccup rushed to her. He took her hand and kneeled next to her. "Hiccup...I cant, I cant...It 'll nevet get out" Astrid said dissapointed, while breathing fast. Hiccup had no idea what to say to calm her down, for the first time.The only thing he could do was to caress her her hair. She was right. He may has been through so much pain in his life, but this was differend. For the first time he couldnt understand her. That's why he could not help her, and that crashed his heart. He knew that she might not make it. And that crashed him even more.
"Hiccup..."he heard his mother's voice and almost the same time he felt her hand on his shoulder. He turned his head to Valka. Hiccup read it in her eyes, he had to leave his beloved for now. He said nothing. He stood up and looked at Astrid. He could see it in her expresion, she didnt want him to leave. He did not want it either, but he had to.He slowly left her hand and walked outside.

Hiccup was sitting with the riders at the hall. Only Fishlegs wasnt there. He was probably somewhere with Heather having great time and dreaming about their child. They were all anxious about ther friend, but they tried not to show it because they didnt want to destroy even more their other friend's phycology. For that reason they tried not to keep very quiet. They were saying random things. Ruff and Tuff were pretty good at it. But Hiccup was not listening not looking at them either. He was looking and listening to his memories. His memories with Astrid.
Their kiss during the sunset on the Edge. "That looks perfect to me" he heard her. He saw her smiling, while looking at the full moon on the Death Song island. He remembered their kisses, their hands, their moments.....everything. Then...he heard his true love screaming behind the wall and he knew, he could do nothing to help her.
He looked around him for a moment. His eye fell on Tuffnut and Frega. They were whispering to each other. "They are a cute couple" Hiccup thought, but then was sanked again in his memories.
The dragons were exited and talking... roaring and making sounds actualy outside the house. Toothless looked back at the house. He thought that he'd better not to bother them so he stayed outside alone. The other dragons were talking with their own species. Toothless didnt have a problem, he was getting along with everyone. For a moment he just imagined he had an other night fury. That day he understood that now Hiccup had a family to take care of and sood he would probably not have not enough time for him anymore (of course that is not true). Just for a second came in his mind a humand face laughing eavily and his family roaring for the last time. He decided to forget about it and went back to the other dragons.
After a while Valka walked to Hiccup again, this time bringing good news. "Do you want to see your daughter?"she asked him with a smile drawed on her face. Hiccup was releaved. He quickly followed his mother in.
He run to Astrid again and took her hand into his. They were both happy and releaved. Hiccup united their lips. They were all so happy. The parents wanted to take their baby to their arms. "Mother..."Astrid said "Can we see our daughter?" "In a few minutes honey."Brynhilde answered. Gothie brought the baby wrapped in a towel. Astrid took it in her hands. It was so small. It was born two months earlier. Everyone knew that it might not make it. It was so weak, so fragile. They couldnt do anything more than hope and pray to Odin not to take their first born daughter with him and the other god and godnesses in Valhalla.
As it seems Odin heard them and five months later the little Hilde was bumping all over the place scaring the Terible Terrors and having her mother running behind her and her father getting her for a ride on the mighty Night Fury. Sometimes she was playing with the gifts the allys of Berk gave to her.
