Becoming a Dragon Rider

Arne and Singrid spend all the day together getting to know each other starting a friendship. Singrid was so happy that she had forgot What happend in the morning. But someone else hadn't.
Hiccup was waiting for her in the only road that gets out of the forest. Of course he had not forgotten about his chief duties, but he kept an eye on the place. Night soon came but the kind girl he met yesterday hadn't returned in the village. He asked everywhere but she was nowhere. He decided to look in the woods. He was worried. He got on Toothless and flied under the moon like an eagle.
After some minutes he was flying over his favourite place he spotted a campfire and got lower. He saw two bodies sleeping next to it. He landed and saw a brown haired boy with a cloak. A few metres away there was Sigrid. He felt bad to wake them up. The two kids were dreaming,they were so cute, so peaceful, like they had no problems, no duties, nothing to worry about. Children on this age, are like that most of the time but not when you're a viking with no family, like them.
He took two blankets of his saddle bag and covered them both. He left with Toothless quietly.
Next day he would talk to her and learn why she run away. After that he was going to talk to Astrid about Sigrid and the adoption thing.
When Sigrid woke up she tried to pretend that there was nothing wrong. Hiccup saw her and run to her direction.
"Sigrid!" He called, and continued when he arrived."What happend yesterday morning? Why did you run?" "I couldn't stay."she answered. "I called you dad. And you said you wanted to adopt me and after that I thought you 'd feel forced to do it." Sigrid said and stepped backwards. "No one can force me to do anything. Except if they are threating to kill someone." Hiccup answered. "So what about getting you the dragon we agreed about? Astrid is waiting at the arena."
At the arena Astrid was waiting with Stormfly. Soon the unique night fury came in with two riders. Sigrid was a little awkward. "You must be Sigrid. Hiccup have told me about you." Astrid said and they shook their hands. "Deadly Natter we said huh? Here we go" Hiccup said from the background and opened the door of the Deadly Natter's place. "So this is how it's done..." Hiccup continued and stood with Astrid behind Sigrid. "... You get in there and wait for a dragon to come closer. Then you give it some chicken. When it eats it, you slowly touch it's nose and pet it. That will be your dragon. " Sigrid looked up to Hiccup a little scared. "Don't worry, they won't hurt you." Astrid said trying to relax her.
Sigrid went close to the Natters. Soon enough all the steps were completed and the dragon put her on her back and she was ready to fly. Toothless roared at the dragon and it stayed grounded."You are not ready to fly yet. Especially without a saddle". Hiccup informed. "But I think it's time to give her a name" Astrid suggested. Sigrid thought for a few seconds. "What about... Sparkle?"she said. "If you both like it then it's perfect! There's not many people at Gobber's and you need a saddle." Hiccup said "I'm going! Come on Sparkle" "But NO FLYING!" Hiccup reminded Sigrid as she was crossing the gate.
"She is perfect..." Astrid said to Hiccup and they holded hands "... But Hiccup, remember it or not, in a few months we will have a baby. A little person who needs us feed it, train it, teach it, take care of it. And we haven't done it before and we don't know how it is... Wouldn't it be too many two children in so little time?" "Astrid I know how this feels but think about it. She had a little brother so she knows some things, also adopting her it will help us to prepare. Also do I have to remind you that you might have twins?" Hiccup answered " I don't even want to think about it!"she answered and turned her head trying to get the idea out of her mind. "Come on! Whatever comes I'm with you. I've told you before. We've been together through everything...." "Don't you think we can handle this?"Astrid said and smiled. "How do you...." "You've said it again. At least now I see it" and she smiled again. "Oh... That yeah..." Hiccup answered and put his hand behind his neck. "It doesn't bother me if you say the same things. It's quite cute in my view" "How do you always know what am I thinking?"they both laughed.
They heard a roar and the deadly natter cam in. "Sparkle! Not so fast!"Sigrid was heard struggling to catch her breath. Sparkle went to show the other dragons her saddle. "She wants to fly!" Sigrid said ready to fall on the ground. "Then I guess it's time for training!" Hiccup told her and the little girl got excited. Astrid Went out of the arena and went to watch.
Soon Sigrid with Hiccup were flying high out of the arena. Astrid joined them to. They were flying all together, all happy and excited. Later they landed. "Sigrid... Do you want to be our daughter?" Astrid asked. Sigrid got shocked she looked at both of them and their smiling faces and she smiled to.

940 words. This is one of the filling chapters Like the previous one. To say the truth they are boring I know, but I can not continue without them. The next are back to the plot and I promise you'll like them more than this one. Vote follow and share 😘😘😘
