Chapter 11: Emotions

Raegan's POV
I look at him. I move my hand to his hair. I look at his face hoping to see his smile but he is still sleeping. I decide to start talking to him
"Justin, I don't know if you can hear me but I'm sorry. I love you so much.. please wake up.. I miss you"
Still no response
A tear falls from my eye
"Hey Raegan, I know you'd like to stay but let me take you home. Get some rest."
"I-I wanna stay here. What if he wakes up?"
"If he wakes up, I'll call your mom."
"O-okay.." I look back at Justin and kiss his head and walk out, David following behind.
I guess I was a little tired cause I fell asleep in the car.
"Raegan, we're here." I open my eyes. Ugh.
We walk in the door
"Raegan, go upstairs and get some rest. I'll tell your mom what happened"
"Okay."
I run up the stairs and go to the bathroom

TRIGGER WARNING

I'm in the bathroom looking through the drawers. Ah. I found it. A blade.
I roll up my sleeve and look at my arm. I study it. I then take the blade and set it on my skin.
Useless
Worthless
This is all your fault
Justin is hurt because of you
Die
I slide the blade across my skin. I want to yelp because of the pain but I'm quiet so I don't get caught. I do it again. Over and over. Looking at my arm, I see the blood dripping down. I'm crying my eyes out. It hurts so bad. I wash the blood off and wrap my arm. I clean the blood off the ground and the blade

TRIGGER WARNING OVER

I open the bathroom door and go to my room. I sit on my bed and look at the suitcase with all of Justin's stuff in it. I go over to it and I open the suitcase. I start crying. It has pictures of him. It also has pictures of us from the time he's been here. I smell his clothes cause they smell like him. I'm crying my eyes out. I take his hoodie out and go over to my bed. I lay down hugging his hoodie and fall asleep.

Time skip

I wake up and it's the morning. I have my mom drive me to the hospital. I rush back to his room and I see David is sleeping in a chair. I kiss Justin's forehead and play with his hair. David wakes up to my presence.  I pull him out of the room
"Why hasn't his mom or brother come yet?" I question
"He hasn't told you?" He looks confused
"Told me what?" I'm suddenly confused even more
"Raegan, Justin doesn't live with his mom anymore. We separated and that's when Justin came out as transgender. His mom didn't accept him for who he is and started beating him so he moved in with me"
I feel a tear form in my eye so I look at the ground
"...no... He didn't tell me that.."
"She wont let Danny fly out here but I'm keeping him updated."
I don't say anything so we go back to the room. I grab his hand.

Time skip

It's been a month and Justin hasn't woken up. I'm still so scared.

Justin's POV (ooh)

I'm in this room. It has all white walls and there's this door at the end. I haven't gone to it. I don't know why. I've just been sitting here for weeks. Not doing anything. I hear Raegan's voice. He talks to me a lot
"Baby? Please wake up. Please. It's been a month" he grabs my hand "it's time babe. Just please wake up. I miss you so much"
That's it. I miss Raegan. I'm going to go through this door. I'm going to see my Rae again. I run through the door as fast as I can and suddenly everything goes black. NO NO NO. I try to go back but the door is gone. I hear Raegan
"NURSE! NURSE! HURRY. HE FLAT LINED. HURRY!!!"
Is this it? Am I dead?
I'm suddenly pulled up with a jolt.
I look around and I see Raegan crying his eyes out
