Dakota grabs my good arm before I get any further and tells me everything was going to be ok and we walk to a park near by. I sit with him until I start to talk. "I really do like you I just make it look like I don't." he looks at me and says, "I know" I stand up and look at him and he stands with me he puts his hand in mine and says "I'm just kidding don't take it the wrong way ok?"
I nod my head and start to talk. "did you hear anything I said back there?" he looks at me then we hear a car pull up. "my moms here do you want to come home with me and talk this over?" I nod my head and get into the car.
his mom was very pretty. she looked at me then asked about the tightly stitched wound on my face. I felt very ugly compared to her. my mom looked like a drunk before my crash now she looks like a stay at home mom. I wish she was that pretty.
"I got in a car crash." she stopped the car and turned to look at Dakota. "Kota this is the girl who was with you, she is really pretty, I wish I could tan like that." I look at him as his face grows red. "mom, please don't call me Kota in front of my friends." I look at him and say, "I like the nickname 'Kota' it's cute wait you talk to your mom about me?"
he gets redder and redder as I start to laugh and his mom joins in. we pull up to a big house with a big deck in the front and you could see the pool in the back. I get out of the car and said clearly, "nice house its bigger than mine" he grabs my good arm and I watch his mom pull out of the drive way and leave as im pulled into the large house.
"Where is your family?" I say as I lay down on his king sized bed. he tells me that his parents leave every Friday so he can have parties and become popular. I wish my parents were that cool.
I look at him and playfully say, "well then, ill get the chips you get the soda and aw man I forgot my bathing suit, you would have loved my bikini." he looks at me and says "I would have wouldn't I?" I hit him playfully and run out of the room as he follows.
"there's always your underwear!" I grab the chips out the cabinet and mock him." im gana brush my hair" I say as people start coming in and music starts playing loudly.
This is going to be an amazing night I say to myself as I stroke my hair once more before running down the stairs and running into Dakota and knocking him down.
that's when everything started.
