he grabs my arm and hugs me and starts to talk, "I am so sorry, the truck came out nowhere and I did everything I could to get into the room but they said no. I haven't slept in a week cause I'm so worried about you, are you ok?" his voice breaks as he talks fastly. I back away from him still crying and say, "look, I really really do like you, but when I was in the bathroom I heard Jenny talking," he cuts me off with his voice breaking off into sobs
"do you really believe anything from her after all this time!!" I look up into his sea blue eyes and say "DAKOTA!!! I saw the video, someone sent it to me a few minutes ago!!, you said you cared, you said that you were different, YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME!!!" I sobbed to him and started to calm down and said, "Dakota, I think we need a break." I push past him into the classroom and see Jenny talking to Carman that was probably why she was so quiet this morning and I grab my bag.
"VIVIAN! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!!" I look into his beautiful eyes and say " I just need to think about everything going on right now with my life friends," I look at Carman who is crying and looking at me as she mouths "I'm sorry" with love in her eyes, "and you." I walk next to him and kiss him on the cheek, which then hurts my cheek, walks out of the classroom.
I walk half way down the hall then I feel a hand on my shoulder, and turn to see Carman. I push her hand off and say, "it's ok. I love you and I know you love me too.I already had my chance with Jenny, now it's yours." I walk away and then she yells at me.
"VIVIAN!! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT," her voice breaks."I I want to be in your life, I really do, but I think you have too many things going on that you want me to back off." I look at her and say calmly, "I need you there but you have more important matters to deal with, but its ok my mom and me are talking again." I walk away and look back to see her standing in the middle of the hallway looking at me.
I walk home but I stop at Starbucks then make my way home with my stitches stinging as my tears fall down my face.
I run up to my bedroom and sob my eyes out. I then hear a knock at the door and my mom comes in. we talk it all out and I stayed out of school for two weeks. that's when I finally made a decision.
