I open my eyes to see a car in front of us smashed up bad and I can't really see under the blood all over me. I look over to see Dakota running around the street asking for help. that's when I shut down.

I open my eyes to see the ceiling and my brother Chris sitting next to me. last time I remember he was getting high on a street corner, but he didn't look high at all. he gasped with fear in his eyes and started to yell that I'm awake and kissed my forehead.

Chris starts to tell me that I got into a really bad accident and had to get 16 stitches on the side of my face. I lost some of my memory to so it was kind of hard to understand who my family was when I got to my house so I just stayed in my room the entire weekend until I was forced to go to school.

I put on a pair of black shorts and a bands shirt with a hoodie. I get out of my mom's car and she tells me she loves me. she's actually been spending a lot of time with me since the crash. I start to walk to the school and I spot Carman and Troy sitting on the grass. Carman stands up as I walk up to them.

"Hey," Carman tells me as she embraces me with a gentle smile on her face. "have you talked to Dakota, he's really worried about you, he visited you at the hospital but he wasn't, family aloud, friends not so much." I look up into her green eyes with tears streaming down the side of my stitches and cheek. she hugs me again then the bell rings.

I walk to class by myself with everyone in the hallway looking at the dry blood,16 stitches on the side of my face, and the tears falling off of my face. I walk into Mrs. Paquette class and as soon as she saw me she gave me a hug and told me I can have a free period even though her class is always free.

Carman and Troy sit next to me and I go to the bathroom the put my ointment on my stitches. I get back to class and I open the door to see Dakotas tired eyes wide when he sees me. I back out of the room as he runs to me.

my mouth drops showing off my teal and white rubber banded braces, he never came to the hospital to see me even though he's the one who did this to me.
