Long chappie because you absolutely beautiful bastards deserve it.
The car rolled up the driveway, screeching to a halt. I looked at y/n smiling. She was looking out the window to the house. Her mouth dropped.
"This is your house?"
"Our. Our house."
"Oh." I started pulling the wheelchair out but she shook her head, her hair blowing in the wind.
"You sure you don't want it?"
"Yeah." She said her voice small. She was embarrassed, she did the same things now as she did before the accident. She looked down and twiddled her thumbs, hair falling in her face. I don't know why she would be embarrassed. But I didn't push. I stepped towards her and out at stretched my hand for her to take. She placed her delicate hand in mine and pulled herself up. Her legs wobbled as she nearly fell. I grabbed her waist to keep her from falling any more. She stared into my eyes, surprised by my actions, when i remembered that she didn't remember me, making it seem as if I was pulling moves on her. I cleared my throat and let her go.
"T-thanks." She muttered. I nodded. She stumbled to the door way. The door was still unlocked considering I left in a rush. I opened the door helping her up the step up into the house. Her eyes twinkled with curiosity as she walked around. She stopped at the kitchen and looked around.
"I still remember when you would make your special pancakes on my birthday, and how one time you tried flipping the pancake but the handle came off." She laughed. Her smiled faded.
"Niall." God it was good to hear her say my name after all this time.
"Hmm?" I hummed in response smiling at the 'pancake flipping mishap' as we liked to call it.
"Do you miss the old me? The one that remembers?" I opened my mouth in surprise. But nodded.
"Every time I set my eyes on your beautiful face. It hurts to think that I love someone so much, but yet they don't even know my last name."
"I-I'm sorry." She choked up, I pulled her in for a hug, rubbing her back, something she loved when she was sad.
"Its ok. I can't imagine how hard it is for you to remember nothing." She looked up and smiled as if to say, 'at least someone understands.'
"Here I want to show you something." I led her upstairs to our bedroom. I picked up my phone from the ground and pulled up pictures of us.
The first one was of y/n and i at the grand canyon she was kissing my cheek and my arm was around her waist. I never looked so happy.
The second was of us at dinner. She was dressed elegantly, in a purple dress that fit her perfectly. I snapped the picture when she wasn't expecting it, noodles hanging out of her mouth. I was laughing in the corner of the picture.
The third was of us at paris. You've seen it.
The fourth was her drooling on a plane. I was sitting next to her.
The fifth was her behind a mask dabbing.
We looked at all the photos. I admired her in every photo. Her silliness, her adorable smile. I could look at her for days and never get bored.
"Niall. I'm sorry. I was being an asshole earlier." She smiled sheepishly. I smiled back.
"Its ok. It probably freaked you out, waking up and me proclaiming that you love me and i love you and you've lost all you're memory. Its ok. My best wish is for you to be happy. And if that's without me. That's ok. I'm ok."
