Missing You

Chapter 7: Runaway

Margarette woke up on an abondoned warehouse, they are almost 40 children inside. All felt scared, others are crying, some still wearing their school uniform and others looks dirty at seems they already stayed there for a long time. Two person sitting on the door , guarding the entrance to the warehouse. Then a car arrived , you can see the lights of headlights passing in the door slit. The guard opened the door. It was their boss, wearing black jacket in jeans, he have mustache with near to bald hair , approximately on his 50's.

Boss: how's everything here?

Guard: everything on planned sir. We already got the last batch of children, so far their already on count to be shipped soon.

Boss: Good! Be ready 2 days from now, the ship will arrived in the port; we need to ship them as soon as possible. I don't want to disappoint the clients.

This syndicate, are exporting children. They used their connection to illegally transport people to their different clients. Either there will be sold as prostitute or organ trade.

Margarette , heard all their discussion and terrified on what will happened to them. She comfort another girl beside here who cried almost on exhaustion, her named is Rebecca, a 8 years old girl, with curly ponytailed hair.

Margarette and the children stayed more days in the warehouse, the night before the shipment; Margarette is already made a plan to escape, at midnight where everybody is sleeping. He approach the two guard on the main door. She approach them slowly to be notice and pretend that she is running her breath, like an asthma attack. The two guard got alarmed and confused what to do.. The one guard ask the other to get some water, so left the room to get some water. Margarette now alone with another guy, while acting losing her breath laying on floor. She pointed her hand to her bed, make body luanguage to the guard that her inhaler was left in the bed. So, the guard left Margarette for a moment to get the inhaler. So far, the guard cannot find the inhaler which is not really existing , so Margarette got the opportunity to run. He run escaped the door and went to the bushes , the place was dark and theres a big hollowblocks wall, she need to passed through and the big gate also closed. The guards already find out that Margarette escaped, the one guard left to guard the other children and one make the search. Margarette tried to climb the wall, there are some old scrap woods layered to each others, so she used them step and reach the top wall. So far the wall is a little bit high, and she have no option but to jump. Margarette jump to the wall and felt to bushes on ground soil. The soft ground support her fell but still injured her knees and sprain her ankle. Poor Margarette run in strain even feeling the pain.

On the other hand, the police already discover the warehouse where the syndicate hide the children. They already inform Mr. Alex on their operation, and Alex insists to go with the police to see and rescue Margarette.

The guard still search for Margarette, she saw her already before she jump the wall, before he will approach her he heard a police siren, and he found out that the police is already arriving. He decided to left Margaret and go back to the Warehouse.

The police already successful on their rescue operation, all the children are saved and the syndicate guard are arrested, However, even on victory Mr. Alex still unaware that Margareete is already escaped.

On the warehouse ,with police and children on sights with ambulances and police cars. Alex shouted for Margarette name, hoping to hear him and finally meet her Daughter.

Alex: Margarette...!!! Margarette...!!! Where are you? . approaching every female child to ask.. Are you Margarette.. ?Please tell me are you Margarette..?

One child approach him..

Rebecca: Excuse me sir?

Alex: Hey! Little girl , are you Margarette? My Daughter?..

Rebecca: No ! Sir.. I'm Rebecca.. Are you Margarett's father.?

Alex: Yes I Am..

Rebecca: Sir, I know Margarette, she comported me when she were here?

Alex: you mean she is here.? Where is she?

Rebecca: She escaped sir. I saw her run when the guard didn't notice her.

And the police approach Mr. Alex.

Police: Sir, we need to inform you. Theirs is one girl missing in the list. We already ask the two syndicate guard and they confirmed that one girl managed to escape. Based on the description it matched your daughter. So far our team now searches the place to find her.

Alex: What?! I will look for my daughter go out of my way.

Police: Please sir, It will not be good for you. Let the police do it, You have to take rest. We will inform you as soon we get a lead.

Alex again lose the chance to see Margaret, He is now waiting again hoping to see her beloved daughter.
