Chapter 12: The Place where all Started

In the few week stay in the Philippines, Margarette reminisce the past and decided to visit the tomb of her mother. She still feel upset on what happen to her mother and always grip on tears. She is sharing all her achievements, talking to the tomb like her mother in front of her. Her mother might be proud on how she become but still express her fury and plan of revenge.

Along the road with the driver, they passed by a familiar place in Tondo, the area where she lived, it was almost changed and a bit different. Big condominium already been established, other place are still in development and still on ruin.. She told Mang Estor, Her driver to drop her by on an area.

Margarette: Mang Estor, Can you stop the car for a moment.

Then the car was stop at the side of the road. Margarette off the car and overseen the area. She told Mang Estor that she will stay a little bit.

Margarette: Mang Estor, I will just check something, you can go and have your coffe first on that near shop. I will call you when I'm ready to go.

Mang Estor: Just don't go far away Ma'am. Just call me through phone and I will pick you up on this same place.

Margarette: No woriies Mang Estor, there still time before sunset. I will not take too long

Mang Estor: Ok Maám ,

Margarette walk in the area and continue her gaze, closed to inside premises, there's a bob-wire fence which restrict people to enter with a signage, "no trespassing, but Margarette still proceed inside "she supposed that because no person guarding the place it might be no one will notice her. Margarette saw they old place where their house was built before, so far is now a high building still under construction. She stand in front of it and all memory suddenly flashback on that area.

Meanwhile, on a road driving recklessly with a sport car , Leon phone rings, it was his father. He slow down a bit and answer the call.

Leon: Hello Dad, What it is?

MR. Roberto: Where are you Son, I called you in the ofiice and they told me you already left?

Leon: We do have a gig tonight, I will visit some collegues..

MR. Roberto: Leon, I want you to take serious of our business.. I don't want you to carelessly unmanage the company.

Leon: I know Dad. I'm just making fun.

MR. Roberto: By the way, I just received a report, one of our project in Tondo have a huge problem. I want you to personally check and fix this one, it will be a affect our credibility.

Leon: But Dad....

Mr. Roberto: No excuse, This is Important..

Leon rust to the area and reach Tondo...

Meanwhile, Margaret at the place heard people voice seems coming out in the building, he saw also a car approaching, so she quickly look for a place and flee before someone will see her. She saw a big bushes beside and hide herself. She even neglects the mosquito bite and the itchy bushes stinging her skin.

Leon arrived in the area, he parks the car in front and just on time he saw the team walking out, just on time before they live their work. Leon talk to the managers and engineers and make a discussion, while poor Margarette still hiding in the bush until they finish.

After the discussion, the team and site workers already left the place and Leon was left behind. He lights a cigarette and smoke. Suddenly, Leon felt that he needs to pee, so far the nearest toilet still a little bit far, so thinking that there be no other people in the place he decided to go to the bush and make his pee. However, Margarette still hiding in the bush.

When Leon already standing in front where Margarette hiding. Margarette still confuse what to do. She even sweat on nervousness and feel uncomfortable. What she might do..

Before Leon unzipped his zipper.. Margarette already scream. Very loud that make Leon shockingly surprise which cause him to lose his balance and felt in the ground..

Margarette: You pervert.. What do you think you are doing...

Leon: Hey who are you? What you are doing there? While still on the ground field with mud, trying to stand up.

Margaratee: ahmm.... I.... I just looking around..

Leon Stand up trying to remove the dirt on his cloth feels upset on what happened.

Leon: Look what you did to me.. I still have a party to go... and by the way this a private property. How did you get here. You must be a thief?

Margarette: Im not a thief , how dare you. On this prettiness you think I'm a thief?

And Leon, just notice how Margarette looks remarkable, with her face, rowdy hair and lovely physic. He look at her from tip to toe, being tantalize with a girl for a first time. But, Margarette saw his action and think it out negatively.

Margarette: Why are you looking at me? ... she tried to compress her body and make her hands cross to her chest..

Margarette: You are really a pervert. Don't ever try.. I will call a police... Don't come near me.. I am warning you.

Leon: What? You ever think that.. Sarcastically saying.. You are not even my type? .. By the way I may be the one who need to call a police you are a trespasser.

Margarette: I'm just lost.. I want to go home..

Leon see the fear and distress on her face, she think she cannot left this girl alone with the dark arrives, she offer his car to come with him and drop her by.

Leon: Go to my car!!

Margarette: and why,

Leon: Do you still thingking I do something stupid on you.. I cannot leave you hear, or else someone will rape you and dumped you here , it will just be a problem to us.

Margarette, with no option ride the car with Leon.. In the car margarette just looking in the window door , while Leon trying to comport her while driving.

Leon: See this place is already almost abandoned, our company working in this place,

Margarette: Yes, I know this place.. You can drop me on that nearest shop. Over there. in the coffe shop.

Leon: Are you sure..?

Margarette: Yes:

Leon stop the car and drop her. After he went down. Leon open his car window and said goodbye..

Margarette smile to him and appreciated his kindness , she just realized how this guy make her felt better she suddenly felt something she don't understand. She waved her hand and said his Goodbye. She also gives him a Thank you.

Leon left the place and check his watched.

Leon: Holy shit!! I'm now late in the party, and he rush on the party..

In the party while drinking his beer Leon remember the girl he just meet, he regret that he forgot to ask her name.
