Chapter 19: Unplanned Visit

In the executive office were all people already left, MArgarette intentionally left behind to collect some data. She already started investigating any related information that she can use against Mr. Roberto. She searches Leon desk, drawers and cabinets. So far some documents kept and mostly old files are address to the name of Mr. Alex Santejo. She just found out that he is the previous owner of the company, seeing also a documents a list of shareholders with percentage ownership with the company. She also remember that she meet already Mr. Alex before in the party.

Margarette eagerly hunger to acquire more information, she even hired a detective to shadow Mr.Roberto and steal documents pertaining to him, and the detective didn't fail her he obtain valuable information that link Mr. Roberto to a syndicate. The detective shows to Margarette documents, articles, police reports that surprise Margarette, she saw two pictures of two suspect who been caught on a rescue operation, she remember what happened when she was a child and abducted, and the two person in the pictures are the guard she escaped before. Margarette connect all the things and conclude MR. Roberto relations to Child export syndicate. Margarette instruct the detective again to continue investigating, and she want to acquire for her evidence pertaining the tragedy in Tondo, which the cost of her mother's death.

On a meantime, Margarette visited MR. Alex in their home, She wants to personally to talk to him to ask about his company before the Lion Dev't Company.

She press the doorbell and the maid open the door..

Maid: How may I help you MA'am?

MArgarette: Its Mr. Alex is there?

Maid: Yes Ma'am. I will just call him. Please come in.

MArgarette went inside and look around the beautiful house of Mr. Alex, also she saw the pictures display in the sala..Then Mr. Alex arrived.

MR. Alex: Margarette?! Is that you..?

MArgarette: It's nice to see you again Sir.

Mr. Alex:Im surprise! Why you didn't tell me you will come?

MArgarette: Sorry sir if I came unexpected.

MR. Alex: No worries.. Have a sit.

MArgarette and Mr. Alex sit on a sofa, then the maid serve a coffee for them,..

MArgarette: You have a beautiful house Sir. I wonder where your wife and children is.?

MR.Alex: (sigh) so far I'm already alone, My wife already died before I will meet her, and I'm still searching for my daughter.

MArgarette: What happened to them sir?

Mr. Alex: It's been a long story... but you seem look alike with my lost wife.. If ever my daughters still alive it might be same as you.

MArgarette: (felt sad and sensed the loneliness of Mr. Alex) Don't lose hope sir. You can still fine your daughter.

Mr. Alex: Thank you MArgarette..(felt comforted and relaxed afterward)

Mr. Alex: By the way, what's brings you here? Did Leon ask you something to do?

Margarette: Not really Sir, I just want to ask you about the company? As I see on record you're the previous owner before Lion Develoment Company take place.

Mr. Alex: Yes! I was before the C.E.O. I been cherish that company as part of my life (Then Mr. Alex discuss to MArgarette everything from top to bottom how's the company take over by Lion Dev't Company ,discussing the whole thing without hesitation giving his trust unknown)

MArgarette felt symphaty with Mr. Alex... afterward before leaving Mr. Alex she excuse for a while to use the wash room.

MArgarette went to face the mirror , she promise on herself that in the future Lion Dev't Company will be on her hands. (She washed her face and removed her ring and put it on top of bathroom sink. Suddenly, her phone rings hearing it outside so she rapidly went out to answer it. It was Mr. Leon on the phone asking her to come back urgently in the office.)

MArgarette said farewell to Mr. Alex and thank him for hospitality, and Mr. Alex felt happy to be visited by someone especially Margarette.
