Chapter 23: The Confrontation

In a coffee shop, Margarette and the hired Detective are talking privately..

Detective: Ma'am I already got an evidence for you.. (he handover a disc).. this is CCTV footage I got it from a technician from a near store after the tragedy in Tondo. It was recorded How Mr. Roberto shot you mother.. I also have also documents testify on the syndicate .It will be countless evidence.

MArgarette with teary eyes felt thankful was she heard from the detective she kept all the documents and evidence in a folder right away.

Then Margarette went back to the company to do her work, Leon was waiting for her.

Leon: Where have you been?

MArgarette: I just took some coffee.

Leon: By the way , did you already prepared for the business meeting.?

Margarette: (Surprised Maragrette seems to forgot the meeting. She left the folder on her desk and arrange the meeting room.

The Meeting was attended by, Mr. Roberto, Leon, Margarette and an international company representative. After the meeting MArgarette was left in the room.. while Mr. Roberto and Leon went to the executive office.. after few discussion Mr. Roberto says her farewell to Leon, after closing the Exceutive room passing by MArgarette desk, Mr. Roberto notice something. It was the folder which a page has been visibly caught his eye. As he open the folder he was surprise on what exposed on his face..It was the evidence on his law-breaking work. Wonder on why these documents are on MArgarette desk. So angrily with dread eyes went to the meeting room to confront MArgarette. He closed the door and talk to her furiously.

MR. Roberto: What is the meaning of this?(showing the folder seems to be crumble on tight hold).

Margarette: how did you get that? Bring it back too me.. (trying to grab the folder)

Mr. Roberto: Who are you?

MArgarette angrily can't take her sentiments, blast her words..

MArgarette: I'm just the girl whom the mother you killed.. Don't you remember my mother who don't have any capability, you killed mercily and shot dead. How dare you?

Mr. Roberto: I don't know what you are saying.

MArgarette: Don't lie Mr. Roberto I already have the evidence, you will be in jail soon , awfully and rotten.

Mr. Roberto: How dare you (grab Margarette and struggling her on the neck, making Margarette hard to breath... she tried to fight but Mr. Roberto is too strong...)

MR. Roberto: I will kill you...

Then someone knock the door.. it was Leon.. asking Margarette..

Knock...knock..knock....

Leon: MArgarette, are you still there?

Then Mr. Roberto Release Margarete and threaten her....

MR. Roberto: Think Margarette, don't try to do stupid things or else... I will kill you or your family.

MArgarette become speechless and frightened, she open the door and went out not bearing in mind Leon on his way.

Leon: Dad, is there's anything wrong?

MR. Roberto: Nothing Son, I just scold MArgarette a little because of the meeting..She is just too emotional..
