Chapter 18: The Party

Leon and MArgarette reach the Mansion of the Galianes, the party is almost started and elite people are already presents,, you can see a lot of influential and rich person gathering in one place. All dress on their best dress and formal suites. They were served with best food and wine with a lot of servants in place. The mansion was decorated on white flowers and table clothes, the swimming pool also decorated with floating balloons and flowers with proper lighting, striking the elegant Mediterranean design Mansion.

Margarette and Leon was approached by Vanessa,

Vanessa: Hi Leon... (she kissed him on cheek as a sign of greetings) I'm glad you came.. (then she see MArgarette, looking from top to bottom with jealousy and intimidation) and who is she?...

Leon: Oh yah!! This is MArgarette my new secretary..

Vanessa: I see! so you are MArgarette..? I already talk to you through phone. Nice to see you in person (deep inside Vanessa felt intimidated, everything pertain to Leon she was very possessive and jealous. )

MArgarette shake her hand and smile...

Vanessa: By the way Leon, you have to see my Mom, for anything else still this was her party.

Leon: Yes! I need to greet her.

Leon: MArgarette: I will just leave you for a moment.

And Vanessa, grab Leon and left Margartee standing..

There's a lot of people in the party and one of it whose been invited is Mr. Alex... standing from a faraway view from MArgarette , noticing her on her back.. he felt something strange. It's like a familiar feature is been seeing. Then he remembers her lost love Beatrice they look the same on angle. He approach Margarette, touch her shoulder and try to see her in front...

MR. Alex: Beatrice!!!....

Margarette: Yes?!! (Turning herself in front of Mr. Alex)

Mr. Alex: I'm sorry, I thought you are someone I know....

Margarette: It's ok sir.. (MArgarette sense his disillusionment and comfort him)

MArgarette: Are you all right?

Mr. Alex: Im fine. Don't bother about.. by the way I'm Alex.. (Shaking hands with MArgarette)

MArgarette: I'm MArgarette...

MR. Alex was surprised about her name, they have the same name of her lost daughter and she mostly looks the same as her loved Beatrice. She might be her, hoping to be her.. with possibility..

Mr. Alex: your name is MArgarette?... where do you live? Who is your Parents.. (Looking Margarette with strange teary eyes)

MArgarette: I.. I live in state for a long time, I belong from Gonzales family.. (Margarette answer with confident but felt odd with MR. Alex actions. However, she can sense the sincerity of the guy and she thinks that he still a good man)

Mr. Alex hearing Margarette answers make him think that she is not the one.he paused silently and look unhappy,Mr. ALex felt disappointed but still the woman she meet gave him inspiration.

Then Leon came back, seeing MArgarette and Mr. Alex..

Leon: Mr. Alex.. How are you?did you able to meet my new secretary ? this is MArgarette..

Leon: MArgarette, this is Mr. Alex.. he was part of the board..

MArgarette: yes! I meet him...

Leon: MR. Alex , if you could excuse me, we just need to go..

Mr. Alex: Ok I understand, by the way MArgarette if you will be free you can visit my house, you or with Leon just for a coffee..

MArgarette and Leon left the place, leaving Mr. Alex, but MArgarette felt sympathy and try to look on one glance Mr. Alex...then she talk to Leon..

MArgarette: Leon, do you know anything with MR. Alex? As she talk to me a while ago, he looks very strange and even mistakenly called me on other person?

Leon: Mr. Alex is just a failure...he experienced difficulties in lifes, as I remember he is looking for his lost daughter for a long time.. and of course the.. (Leon paused thinking that it was not good to discuss that his current company is from Mr. Alex)..never mine Margarete..

MArgarette: Ok.. (MArgarette thingking with inquisitiveness)

Leon introduce Margarette to a familiar face he didn't expect to meet, it was Leon his father Mr. Roberto, the person that MArgarette is pursuing for ,the grudge she kept for a long time, now seeing it front of her. Keeping her stance she approaches Mr. Roberto with competence.

Leon: Dad, I want you to meet Margarette, my new secretary..

MR. Roberto: it was nice to see you MArgarette..

MArgarette: Same with me sir..

Mr. Roberto: I hope Leon didn't give you too much headache?

MArgarette: No worries Sir, I can't handle it...

Leon: You don't have to say it Dad..

Then Margarette changed her mood, she felt angry that she want burse out, her hands where irresistible urge to squeeze by seeing MR. Roberto's face... All her bitter memories were recurrence.
