Mentor Interviews

Peeta P.O.V

Alex came back from her room dressed in a mid-thigh length purple galaxy dress, knee-high white boots and a cropped white blazer, her blonde hair tightly curled with added purple and blue streaks, her blue eyes every minute or so flashed purple or a darker blue.

“Wow Lex you look amazing” I smiled and gave her a quick hug

Alexandra rolled her eyes and then walked over to Katniss and grabbed her hand and leaned down and whispered something in her ear.

Katniss smiled her soft beautiful smile before Alex pecked her on the cheek, then me, then Effie and to my great surprise Haymitch’s, Haymitch seemed so surprised he fell off his chair in shock.

Alexandra threw back her head and laughed not her normal cold harsh laugh but a light sweet one rather like the chiming of a bell. I smiled softly at my younger sister and she hurried out of the room, brushing her hair out of her eyes.

Alexandra P.O.V

I walked over to Caesar and sat down, tucking a curl behind my ear.

“Wow Alexandra you wonderful” Caesar smiled

“Thank you Caesar you look fabulous” I beamed

Caesar clapped his hands together “Don’t I”

“You have grown vainer” I joked

“And you prettier”

I felt a small blush rise up my cheeks as I stared at my knees.

I looked up quickly just in time for my eyes to flash purple.

“Wow your eyes” Caesar smiled

“I know they match my dress no” I asked

Caesar threw back his head and laughed “Well, well moving on from your eyes and your dress. How do you feel about these year’s tributes do you know them well or have you meet them before”

“Katniss Everdeen is my friend’s sister and Peeta Mellark is my brother” I admitted

Caesar gasped “Peeta is your birth brother”

“That would be correct” I smirked just as the buzzer went off

Caesar turned around “Turn that off”

I laughed and stood up straightening out my dress, I pecked Caesar on the cheek, waved to the crowd before hurrying out the door.

I bumped into Haymitch.

“Brilliant acting Alexandra” Haymitch grinned

“I know aren’t I brilliant” I laughed and tossed my hair over my shoulders.

“So what did you talk about in the interviews it wasn’t on TV” Peeta asked

“Of course not only The Capitol has access to the mentor interviews” I rolled my eyes at Peeta

“Well can you-” Peeta was cut off by the door bursting open and 4 peace keepers marching in.

Effie looked surprised “Oh hello are you-”

Effie was cut off

“President Snow would like to talk to Alexandra” A peace keeper grunted

Effie looked affronted at being cut off.

“Well um Alex” Effie stumbled over her words rather like how I stumble in her shoes

“I’ll be back” I smiled Peeta, kissed Effie on the cheek before following the Peace keepers to Snow’s house.

I walked into a room and found Snow standing at a desk.

“Alexandra” he nodded

“President Snow”

“No I believe you have two adoptive siblings but when you came to adopt them they were already adopted” Snow frowned

I nodded “Yes”

Snow pressed a button and two peace keepers walked in with Rush and Fern in between them.
