Chapter 12: Awkward

*Sana's POV*

I woke up the next morning with Chewy beside me. I smiled at the sight of her. She looked cute when she's sleeping.

I wonder how long it took for her to fall asleep?

I carefully slipped out of Chewy's embrace and went to cook breakfast. I cooked the usual, pancakes with bacon and eggs. Grabbing the plates, spoons and forks, I set them down on the table. After setting up I walked over to Chewy.

Ah she's still sleeping... I don't wanna disturb her...but she has to eat... agh you know what I'm just gonna try to wake her...

I gently tapped Chewy's arm.

Nothing.

I tapped again.

Nothing.

Ok one last time.

I tapped again and this time she woke up. She sleepily rubbed her eyes and focused her eyes towards me.

"Sana unnie? *Yawn* What time is it?"

"It's 11 o'clock Chewy." She widened her eyes.

"What? We missed our morning jog..."

"It's ok Chewy we still got tomorrow. We can do extra laps tomorrow since it's our day off."

"Oh right it's Thursday. Friday's our day off."

I nodded my head and motioned her to go eat. She groaned as she didn't want to get up.

"Yah! Chewy! Get up!"

"Make me."

"I won't cook for you anymore."

She immediately got up and ran towards the dining table.

Hehe knew it.

I laughed as I followed her into the dining room.

"That was not funny Sana unnie!"

"Haha yes it was. Now come on and eat. We have to get ready for work around 12."

She pouted but started eating.

After we finished eating we got ready for work and headed out. We arrived a short time later and Dahyun greeted me and Chewy.

As time went on I noticed that Chewy had been completely avoiding me. So once again Dahyun kept me company. Was there something going on between those two? I shrugged it off as Chewy looked busy with checking the supplies.

"Hey Sana?" I looked over at Dahyun.

"Yeah Dahyun?"

"Do you want to hangout tomorrow? I requested a day off and I thought that I should hangout with you."

"That's really sweet. Sure let's hangout tomorrow."

She squealed excitedly and told me what time she was going to pick me up. I nodded my head and we both continued to work until the shift was over.

Finally work was over and I said goodbye to Dahyun and left with Chewy. As we were walking I noticed that she was quiet again. I tapped her arm and she looked over at me.

"Yeah Sana unnie?"

"You're too quiet again. What's going on?"

She rubbed her neck and simply said, "Just a little tired that's all."

Of course I didn't believe her but I let it slip since I didn't want to press further.

We walked in silence once more until Chewy spoke up.

"Hey Sana unnie? What are you doing tomorrow?"

"I'm just hanging out with Dahyun tomorrow. Why?"

"Oh...never mind it's nothing important."

I wanted to ask why but we already arrived at the apartment. Once she was inside she immediately went straight to her room.
