Chapter 29: Preparation

*Sana's POV*

"Debut Song."

I wonder what it is? Will we all like it? Could we even prepare for it in time for the festival?

I kept on thinking about all the what ifs until I felt a hand on mine. I looked over towards my right and Chewy gave me a small smile. She leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Hey it's ok. We can do this. Just let JYP explain it first ok?"

I nodded my head and turned to face the projector screen. JYP pushed the button on the remote to move on to the next slide. The slide showed what our theme was. It was a tough kind of concept but it was still fun. He told us that it will make sense when we listen to the song and do the choreography for it.

Moving on the next slide he played the song. To be honest it was pretty awesome. Even by just listening to a sample of the beat, still it was cool.

I looked around at the other members to see their reactions. They seemed to have the same reaction I did because I could see their faces with approval.

JYP noticed it too so he continued on. The next few slides were about our costumes, location of where we were filming, and how the schedule was going to play out.

Soon he finished the PowerPoint and he asked for any questions that we had. Fortunately, we didn't so we would start our process to debut right away. JYP dismissed us and a person was already waiting at the entrance of the hallway. She approached us and told us that she was our new manager. We introduced ourselves while we were walking towards the dance studio.

Once were there, she opened the door for us and guided us to a room.

"From now on this specific room is for you guys. You can practice whenever you want and you can decorate it to your liking."

The room was really large, one wall all decorated in mirrors to see how we danced, two sofas with a mini coffee table in the far corner, and surround sound speakers.

We all stared in awe, trying to comprehend that this was actually happening. We were going to debut as an official kpop group.

"Alright I'll go call the choreographer so just sit tight."

The manager left and we sat on the sofas. All of us had started small conversations until the choreographer arrived. It didn't really take long, it only took about 10 minutes. She introduced herself and we introduced ourselves as well.

"Ok so let's start now."

She took us through every step and position that we would do. Especially the part where we had to roll your hips into a "U" short of shape. That part was really hard so she instructed us to let one person go and all of us follow in a line. Momo had started first because she was really good at dancing. Then Mina followed behind her and everyone else followed afterward.

That took us a while to master... I mean come on... you have got to admit that certain part is hard. Rolling your hips at the "Ooh Ahh Ooh Ahh."

A couple of hours later we had already learned the positions and moves. We collapsed from exhaustion, falling on top of the sofa or just lying on the floor.

Jeongyeon: "so tired..."

Momo: "same here..."

The rest of us groaned as our bodies were now sore. The choreographer laughed and said that it's hard at first but it gets better.
