"Riley? What are we going to do?"

My little brother asked me as I closed the front door.

You see, today is my parents 12th wedding anniversary and they were going out to dinner.

They insisted me and Auggie come, but we politely declined explaining that this was their night.

So here I am on a late Saturday night babysitting one of my favorite people in the world.

"Well Auggie, what would you like to do?"

I curiously asked my little brother.

"Could we play pirates? I know there's not enough of us but maybe you could invite Farkle to come!"

He exclaimed leaving me a little confused.

"Sure Auggs, but why Farkle? I mean he's awesome and all but why not Maya?"

I questioned the curly haired boy.

"Because Farkle plays with me. Maya just comes, distracts you, and then I'm left all alone to play with myself."

He said. I felt my heart break a little hearing his little voice like that.

"Okay Auggie. I'll call him now, go set up!"

I exclaimed grabbing my phone.

Calling Farkley✨

Farkle: Hey Riles! What's up?

Riley: Hey, so could you do me a favor?

Farkle: Of course! What is it?

Riley: I am babysitting Auggie and he wants to play pirates. But the thing is, we don't have enough people. So he was wondering if you could come play?

Farkle: Sure! I love the little guy. But why not Maya?

Riley: I asked him that too. He said that me and her just unconsciously start to do our own thing and completely ignore him.

Farkle: Oh. Okay sunshine, I'll see you in a few!

Riley: Bye!

I ended the call and sighed, this was going to be fun.

About 15 minutes later, Farkle knocked on our apartment door.

I let him in and started to greet him.

"Hey Farkle, I'm sorry if it was any hassle to get here and such. Auggie just really wanted you to come s-"

He cut me off.

"It's totally cool Riley. Your brother is amazing."

He replied with a smile.

I smiled back at him then led him to Auggie's Room.

Once we entered, it felt like we were in a new land.

Auggie completely revamped the place.

He placed well cut cardboard around the bed.

Bed sheets to look like sails.

He even dimmed the lights so it looked like we were in a storm.

I was cut off when Farkle grabbed a sword and said in a horrible pirate accent,

"So, who here stole me' buried treasure?"

"Oh I don't know me'hardy, maybe we should find out!"

(I don't know how to make it look like Pirate's talk so please bare with me)

Then Auggie said some cheesy pirate pun and we started fighting.

We had played for a good 3 hours before Auggie crashed and slept.

Now it was just me and Farkle in the Living Room watching Red Planet Diaries.

He had his arm gently around me, and my head was placed in the crook of his neck.

Soon enough the episode ended, but we stayed like that for a while, until I heard the door unlocking.

Once my dad saw me and Farkle's position I knew he was a goner.

So I pushed Farkle off of me and to the bay window in the living room.

He gently pecked my cheek as he climbed out leaving me in awe.

I then turned around seeing a mix of shock and anger from my dad and amusement from my mom.

"Okay what was that about?!"
