Think race car drivers aren't tough? Well think again. Back in the early days in NASCAR and till the 2000's if NASCAR drivers got injured, they wouldn't sit at home and rest. They would be back in the race car the next race. Doesn't matter if they broke their legs, arms, hands, had a swollen eye, broken neck, etc. they would race with those kinds of injuries. Race car drivers did that because back then you ride could be taken over by someone else, which means it's not solidified. These drivers back then wouldn't let anything stop them from doing something they love, but today drivers who do get injured take time out and their ride is solidified. Try driving a race car with a broken hand and when your hand is supposed to be on the wheel each lap or seeing where your going on the track with a swollen eye. If these drivers aren't tough as nails then I don't know what they are.
