New Student and Rival?

•JAX'S POV•

As soon as I spot Harper, I leave Hazel and dash straight to her.

"Harp-" I stop myself when I reach her and she turns around...

Her face caked in fountain, so I drag her to the bathrooms, I don't care that she's in the boys bathroom. But I do check first. Then I wet down some paper towels and wash the fountain of, Harper isn't even fighting it.... When it's all off, I see three giant bruises

"I-It's nothing, I just hit my head on my nightstand last night" She finally looks me in the eyes

"No, was it them?!" I ask, referring 'them' to Hazels group. She just nods up and down....

I push hair out of her face and kiss her forehead "Just stay away from them, I'll make sure that they never mess you you ever again"

I was about to leave but then she grabs my sleeve "Please, don't get in trouble again" She barely whispers

"They need to be taught a lesson" And before she could stop me again, I dash out. I know that the guys would be at the football field, so I run there immediately.

"Hey Jax" A voice chimes from the bleachers, so I turn to see Jake and Blake.... the bastards

"You little fucks!" I yell climbing up the bleachers to them and I start punching them

"Woah! Calm down Jax!" I hear footsteps behind me, but I don't stop until the person pulls me off

"What the hell!" I yell trying to get loose from the grip, but fail, the guys just stay there laying on the floor.

"What happened?!" The grip finally loosened, so I turn and face Hazel

"They hurt Hazel! She has bruises on her face!" The face is where they usually avoid, so they must've been really bored... FUCK?! I should've been here! I shouldn't have skipped school!

"I know, and they are 'cool' with you guys now! Just calm down, this won't happen again!" She walks over to the two almost unconscious men, and help them up and sit on the bleachers

"Just so you know, the moment you hurt Hazel, we won't hesitate to kill your ass" Blake says looking up just enough to make eye contact

"I never plan to hurt her, that is as long as you never hurt Harper" I look at Jake then back to Blake. We look at each other for awhile, then he just nods agreeing

"Like hell you could hurt me" Hazel walks down next to me putting her hand on my shoulder "I could snap you in half like a twig"

"I'm more than what meets the eye" I wink playfully at Hazel, getting the attention of Jake, who just growls

"Heel Jake" Hazel said with a small chuckle "Well, class should start in three minutes, don't want sweet innocent Jax to be late" she then shoo's me way

So I rush back into the school, quickly grabbing the supplies for my first class, chemistry. Then I rush to the classroom right before the last bell rang

"That was close, Jax, but next time make sure you bring the right book" Mr. Ashly looks at the items that I was carrying, then I glance down and see that I grabbed my English book "Guess you'll just have to share with someone else" He says smiling. He doesn't like me...

Then a new voice speaks up from the back "I don't mind sharing!" I look back and see a new face starring directly into my eyes... Oh yeah, we were supposed to have a new student, I guess that's him...

I walk towards an empty seat next to him, and sliding it closer to him "I'm Zane, nice to meet you Jax" He sticks his hand out, and I take it shaking it lightly

"Thanks, and it nice to meet you too" I whisper... Zane...

Once classes are over, and it's lunch time, I head to the cafeteria and sit with Harper, seeing all the make up covering the bruises

"Jax" She whispers

"Yeah?" I look down at her

"Why did you hurt them?" Her gaze goes to the twins "I thought you never wanted to snoop down to their level" She then gets up and leaves...
