The Reciept

Roxies POV
After I arrived back home and answered a hundred and fifty
thousand questions from Trisha, I made my way to my bedroom and
closed the door. I decided I was going to try on everything I bought
today and make sure it all fit and I had enough clothes for the
beginning of this school year. I started pulling things out of bags and
throwing everything onto the bed. I must have thirty different bags
here. My father is surely going to kill me when he sees his credit card
bill I thought to myself. After throwing all the clothes and shoes onto
the bed, I sorted through the receipts, making sure to keep them all
in a safe place just in case I needed to return anything. As I made
sure each of them were there I came across something written on
the bottom of one of them. It just so happened to be the one from
hot topic. I looked at the bottom and read "hope you enjoy your
clothes and the extra gift I stuck in there, give me a call or text
sometime" Chaz. Wow I thought did he really just do that? How
sweet, he put a note and his number on the bottom of my receipt
without me knowing. What was the extra gift I thought as I began
frantically throwing shit off my bed, looking for something I didn't buy!
And there it was an awesome looking Metallica bracelet. I went back
the receipt to look at the phone number. I wanted to text him and tell
him thank you for the gift. Then I realized something else out of the
normal on the receipt. After the subtotal line there was another line
that said 30% discount, and the total amount that the discount took
off. That little shit lied to me I thought. That shit wasn't on sale, it was
cheaper because he gave me his employee discount.
I picked up my cell and quickly punched in his number, double
checking and making sure I had it right before texting.
Hey! Its Roxie the girl from hot topic earlier, I bought the Korn
shirts and some other stuff. I'm not sure if you remember or not.
Anyway I just wanted to say thank you so much for the discount and
the bracelet I love it. I can't believe I didn't notice the receipt before I left, probably because it went straight in the bag with my stuff. But
again thank you so much I love it -Rox
I waited a few moments not knowing if he would text back or not.
Really I don't even understand why he was so nice to me to begin
with, but it was super sweet regardless. After a few moments passed
my phone dinged and lit up. I opened it and began reading the
message.
Hey Roxie, of course I remember you, how could I forget. I'm
glad you like the bracelet, I figured you would since you wanted that
Metallica shirt so much. It was the least I could do to make it up to
you. BTW did you go down to Spencer's and see if they had one?
Anyway I got to jump off there and get back to work. Talk to you later-

Yes, I went down there and they had a couple of them actually
so I bought both. Thanks for telling me about them, I didn't know
there was any other place like hot topic in the mall. Can I ask you a
question Chaz?-Rox

Well I am just wondering why are you being so nice to me, I
mean I just met you today at the store and you are being like super
sweet to me. I was just kind of curious why?-ROX
Well I'm not really sure myself, I just have this weird intuition I
guess, it seems like I have known you longer. You seem to be a lot
like me and I don't find that very often so I figured I would help you
out a bit. I figured maybe if I gave you my number you would text me
and I could get to know you a little better and maybe we would
become friends!-Chaz
Okay!! I like that idea, you seem super nice and I definitely
seems like we have a lot in common with each other.-ROX
After sending my last message I decided to continue doing what I was
about to do before I found that damn note and lost track of
everything. I got all my outfits arranged and tried them on one by one
in front of my full length mirror. I couldn't be happier with the way everything fit. I decided to wear a pair of my new booty shorts, my
Metallica t shirt, and a pair of entries. Before I put everything else
away I slipped on the Metallica bracelet from Chaz. When I looked at
myself in the mirror this time I had a giddy smile on my face, thinking
about where the bracelet came from. Oh Roxie stop It I thought, he
said become friends nothing more. I don't know why I felt so happy,
normally guys did not have that effect on me. Actually I have only
dated a couple guys, and never really cared much about them to be
honest. I was always more worried about excelling in school to keep
my father happy.
I pulled myself together and walked out of my room to go check
on Jessie. Shit Jessie I thought, I was supposed to bring him home
McDonald's and I forgot because I spaced out on the way back.
Fuck!! I ran back to get my phone and called Angela to see if she
could come back and take me to McDonald's. Shit no such luck, her
mom had already left the house with the car. What am I going to do
now I thought, not wanting to disappoint Jessie? Suddenly I had an
idea, not the best of ideas but the only thing I could think of.
Chaz!!! I hate to ask you this but I need a favor if possible,
normally I wouldn't ask but you are the only other person I can think
of a you said we were friends right? If you can't do it it's okay but I
figured I would give it a shot. Just text me when you get done at work

I actually just got off work 10 minutes ago, what's up? I will help
if I can. Of course were friends girl. I wouldn't have done all that if we
weren't.
I was supposed to grab my little brother some McDonald's on
my way home, but I forgot and now I don't have a way to go and get
it. I feel terrible I don't want to disappoint him. Plus I don't have shit
here to feed him for supper. Could you help me out and run by there
please!!!! I will pay you back and give you gas money-Rox
That's the big favor Rox? Run by McDonald's and bring your
little brother some food lol. Of course I can do that just send me what you guys want and your address and I will bring it over there in just a
few minutes.
Thanks Chaz! All I need is a 10 piece chicken nugget meal with
bbq Sause and a sprite. And if you could grab him a sundae to make
it up to him that I forgot to get it earlier. Thank you so much-Rox
I sent Chaz what I needed and sent him the link with my address and
the directions. I couldn't think him enough for this he was literally
being my savior right now. My phone beeped again and it was Chaz.

Within 15 minutes my phone beeped again, it was Chaz telling me he was in my driveway.
