Chapter 6: Confrontation

Ron's P.o.V

~time skip till after classes~

We were alone together in the Common Room. Me and Hermione were talking, just talking, no particular subject. Finally out eyes locked and we both began to lean in. My eyes closed just as our lips touched. Suddenly the Common Room door opened and there stood a very shocked and confused Harry.

Harry's P.o.V

I was running to the Common Room. Today had been so confusing. With every new class Draco's mood towards me. Sometimes he was nice, then he'd be mean, and sometimes he would just straight up ignore me. I got there and flung open the door. And there on the couch were Ron and Hermione....kissing?! I just stood there staring with my mouth wide open as they parted and stared back at me. "Wh-what?!" What is this!?" I shouted at them, slamming the door so no one else could see what was happening. Ron started babbling nonsense while Hermione just sat there blushing like crazy. Finally Hermione spoke up. "H-harry! We're so sorry! We s-!" I cut her off quickly. "Its okay! Really! But why didn't you tell me?" Hermione was too embarrassed to talk now so Ron began. "Well, you see, we were going to today. But you seemed a little too distracted staring at Malfoy to hear it." Now it was my turn to blush. "I-I! How did you-? You didn't tell anyone did you?" Ron was smirking at me until I asked him that. His smile quickly fell and his face turned deathly serious. "We're your friends, mate! We would never do that to you!" I let out a relieved sigh. "I'm sorry, Ron. I didn't mean it like that. I just-" I sighed. "Can you forgive me?" His goofy smile quickly returned. "Of course! If you can forgive us for not telling you." I nodded, agreeing to his terms. I walked over and sat in one of the cushy arm chairs. "So," I looked at them. Ron was confused, Hermione was still overcoming her blush. "So? So what?" Ron asked. "Soooo. How long have you two been, ya know, together?" "Oh." Hermione replied. "Mm just today." She looked up and saw me smiling. "How long for you and Draco?" She asked, smirking a bit. I blushed a little and started to answer when other students began filing in, putting away their books and getting ready for dinner. I looked at them, then back to her as she mouthed, 'we'll talk later.' I nodded quickly, already dreading the coming conversation.
