Jaces POV

Today was the day. My girlfriend is going to meet my ex. Isabela. I'm praying that this will go well.
Surprisingly, I was the first to wake up. Usually Y/N is the first one to wake up before me. For the past 2 days she's been really tired. Well I mean she's pregnant so she should be tired. It's a lot of work for her. Just wait 6 more months.

I was getting out of bed slowly so I don't wake her up. But then her phone vibrated. I was curious so I looked. It was a dm from Isabela? I slowly walked over to the nightstand and unplugged her phone and I unlocked it since I knew her password.

I went to Isabela's name and saw what she said.

Isabela: Heyy girl today's the big day! Hope you're ready to lose ur man cuz I'm finally getting him back today!!

Jace: *quietly* WHAT!?!

I could not believe what I just read. Isabela is planning something. She's trying to get me back. Ovbiously that's never gonna happen in a million years.
I saw that Y/N and Isabela were texting before she sent this. I scrolled up to the top and read everything.

Jace: You're kidding me right now?

Isabela is so cruel. I can't believe her right now! Good thing I broke up with her.

I saw everything that Y/N wrote. "You try to mess with my man, you mess with me first."

Jace: Awwwwwwe.

My babygirl is so sweet. But I'm worried. That sentence also meant something. She's going to fight Isabela! I can't let that happen. She's carrying a child and getting into physical fights isn't right for her. I'll keep an eye out on both of them.
She was starting to wake up. I cleared out the apps I was on and plugged in her phone then turned it off.
Without making noise, I quickly exited the room closing the door slowly.

No ones POV

You woke up knowing that today was the day you would actually be face to face with Isabela.

Y/N: Ughh!!

You rolled your eyes and went to the bathroom.

You came down the stairs seeing Jace on the couch watching of course Henry Danger and drinking coffee.

Y/N: Hey babe.
Jace: Hey sweetheart.
Y/N: Drinking coffee there ay?
Jace: Uhuh.

You knew you couldn't have coffee. But you wanted to prank Jace telling him that you're gonna make "some." Just to throw him off.

Y/N: Oh cool well I'm gonna have a smoothie. *Wink to yourself*
Jace: Alright.

You went into the kitchen and pulled out a coffee mug and went over to the coffee machine. You grabbed the coffee kettle and poured some out. You put the kettle back and walked over to the couch next to Jace.

Y/N: Yo I'm back.
Jace: Doesn't it take longer to make a smoothie baby?
Y/N: Oh no no no I bought this smoothie and put it in the fridge.
Jace: So you're drinking a smoothie in a coffee mug?
Y/N: *Sip* Uhhhh yea?
Jace: So your smoothie is liquidy?
Y/N: Ummm sure?
Jace: Okay, what're you hiding?
Y/N: Nothing.
Jace: Mhmm, can I see what's in your cup?
Y/N: Why?
Jace: I'm just curious.
Y/N: *sighs*
Jace: Fine, can I have a kiss?
Y/N: Sure.
